These are the types of videos I have always wanted in a makeup artist. You feel so genuine and I love the more minimal makeup look.
I honestly think Tati is too classy to be throwing shade. She just loves makeup and only talked about the recent palettes that came out, without trying to throw anyone under the bus or anything like that. Love her for this

I think she called it the Love Hate Challenge. Basically for each step in your makeup routine you use a product that you really love and one you really hate. So for foundation use one you love and one you hate and mix them. Then I guess for shadow just use shades from a palette you love and some from a palette you hate. And so on.. I thought that sounded like a really cool idea!

My mother had cancer throughout my teens and early twenties, and in such circumstances, I did not have that experience that other young girls have of learning how to do makeup and hair, or makeup basics, from anyone in my life. Makeup was beyond my comprehension for quite some time, but I learned everything from watching your videos. I am still learning but I take pride in my makeup, I receive compliments for my efforts, and I am now so much more confident in the cosmetics department or aisles thanks to you. Everything I do I have learned from you, and I appreciate how honest you are so I know what products are worth the effort to acquire. Thank you so very much for teaching me my every day process.

I love when people at work complement me on my make up skills/application. I'd feel weird if colleagues commented on my appearance though.
of course anyone would say you are really good at what you do. extra bonus if you get compliment on your looks. I think regardless of whether you are a makeup artist or not, it really comes down to the personal preference.

Thatβs one of the reasons I love Tati. I love experimenting with makeup and going wild sometimes, but for the most part I like how she uses makeup to emphasize her looks instead of always going wild with it. I like her mature style a lot.

I think James was referring to overused trends. In the end, the individual may look a smokey eye or not - it is a personal choice so he cannot generalise the dislike as someone else cannot generalise what everyone likes obviously.
