My dad owns a 2013 12C we bought the car around 3 years ago, we've had the best experience possible. People always say 12C's are unreliable but I think it varies from the car, we only had two issues, faulty tire pressure sensor and faulty passenger airbag sensor both were replaced and covered by the warranty. We've had the best experience with McLaren so much so that we have a 600LT arriving late May early June.
How is the 600LT?

They actually come with an extinguisher, but the spot they secure is in the frunk.

@@anthonylineberry What do I know, I just own a MP4-12C, with the factory extinguisher secured in the frunk. Know what else? When I drove Hoovies car it wasn't mounted in front of the passenger seat either, nor was there a mount for it.
EMF Audio Yup. Not too many cars have that.. Most are in a holster in front of the passenger seat, but most 12-c {depends on where you live} are in the frunk, with a holster
@@EMFAudioAh, my buddy's extinguisher must be after market? He has one mounted in his in front of the passenger seat in his 12c. I assumed it was OEM.
Point of view. Much better than the standard watch me talk while I drive.

Although it does mean that you film the speedometer, so that should help the police with their enquiries.
It should feel brand new 2nd engine 3rd transmission under 40k miles. Thankfully Mclaren has that extended warranty.

Wow! That was one of the BEST car reviews I have heard. I think it is because you actually understand the tech and you appreciate the drive. I have heard a hundred McLaren reviews and never knew the TT V8 was derived from Nissan. You should do this more often.

XXXONAMEMESTREAK he can take it to the track and not void his warranty, it just has to be a mclaren sponsored track day. He could also take it to any track if he didn’t buy a car he couldn’t afford to maintain.

Cool video man! You got me really hyped on this car. Don't know much of anything about McLarens, and supercars are all kind of, well - they all seem similar to me, a simple Subaru/Honda driver... but this video really kind of makes me feel what it's like, instead of just feeling like, oh - another supercar, cool - it's fast and looks like a sci-fi spaceship/vitamin capsule, blah blah. I am eyeing used 650s's as we speak...I love how they look and the 641 BHP is damn impressive and looks like you can get a low mileage '15 or '16 Spider for ~140-160K...but the thing scaring me is the repair costs off warranty...you can get into the tens of thousands of dollars real quick at the dealer with these cars and the documented cases of failures is pretty well known.
Nice to see no check engine light or any other malfunction 😄 that gives confidence I really like the 12C and the fact that Tyler has a warranty makes it a keeper 😊

Tavarish, i have been subscribed since you were fixing up the gas tank from an old Mitsubishi 3000gt and I am a huge supporter of you, you were always my N.1 KRplusr, but I would love that you start with consistent wrenching video on your cars instead of some random video’s, the beginning era of the wrenching video’s of the white Lamborghini where just awesomeness, consistent awesome wrenching videos that you almost did daily!!
(Daily is maybe a little bit to much, every second-third day like BiFB would be awesome)

Bold words from somebody who's probably never seen one. I've had ZERO issues from my MP4-12C, and mine is much earlier VIN than Tyler's.
If a car has had multiple engines and transmissions under warranty, I feel free to talk shit.
@@votekyle3000 That doesn't mean it has no reliability. I believe the issues with the engine and transmission in the past were owner related. Of all the actual owners I've talked to (I am an owner as well), NOBODY has had multiples replaced, and none had both replaced. Also note reliability is more than engine and transmission. If it had zero reliability, Tyler wouldn't have even thought about driving it 2 hrs each way to Amelia Island, without issues.
EMF Audio check out a video regarding a McLaren 12c specialist in the u.k. he says there are hardly any engine failures... etc. Most issues with 12c and 650s regard sat navy and info systems. Just saying
With the Citroen inspired hydropneumatic suspension makes me wonder what a Citroen grand touring supercar would be like.
