Donkey Kong Country uses a lot of over the top antics in it's gameplay. One of the most iconic of those things being the classic Donkey Kong Barrel Cannon. Now when I look at something crazy in a video game, I want to know if that thing would really WORK! Today Austin is going to do just that! I have another explanation to the linear trajectory: They are using the magnus effect! as you can see they are spinning really fast after leaving the barrel so this makes absolute sense!

They also forget that since gravity is stronger, and they are walking just fine, that would mean their body structures are more dense or more powerful than ones we have normally. That is one of the things they never take into account, that their bodies would be stronger than normal humans, or in this case, gorillas.

What if, instead of trying to solve the issue of travel arc by increasing velocity, we instead take the issue at face value? If we're to assume that DK really is going 26.52 m/s in an environment where gravity is acting at 44 m/s^2 with zero drop, then correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems we simply have to assume that he's traveling at orbital velocity and therefore isn't being pulled closer to the planet. Now, I'm not crazy on math, but that seems to imply a very small, dense planet. No idea how small, but could it make sense that the planet isn't much bigger than the island that the game takes place on? If not, how small would it be? Is it possible at all?

There is a flaw in the calculation of newton. The weight of a silverback is measured @ earth gravity - but as measured, the gravity is higher in the game(~x 4,84 times) . meaning the measured weight would be higher as well (~658kg or 1452lbs).
additionally this way , the body would experiance a relative acceleration of 289G for us instead of 1400G, since the body is adapted to the higher gravity.

I never noticed how frequent and versitile barrels were in all sorts of Donkey Kong games until now
If history were a bit different and barrels weren't used in arcade Donkey Kong/DKC, then I can't even imagine what Donkey Kong games would look like today

So i have a theory and i dont even know if you will see this but Austin if you see this in apex octane has the speed drug but his legs are robotic and i assume that he has something that allows him to move them just by thinking so is it possible that instead of making him run faster the drug just makes him think faster instead?
