Dude has donated more to a charity that 100% supports LGBTQ+ youth than the politicians which will partially go against LGBTQ+ rights. I think that demonstrates how he cared more about the LGBTQ+ community than he political views. Which at the very least shows he doesn't deserve to be crucified.
Whatever he supports, nobody like Scott deserves to be cancelled. I'm afraid the future FNAF games will be awful without Scott, all because of little kids who don't know what an opinion is. This makes me extremely sad.

Even after fnaf is gone, we will still have the stories and fragments. I don't know if this makes any sense to anyone who may stumble upon this, but I hope you all feel the same way.

I'm glad that with the amount of following MatPat has that he's promoting a non-absolutist perspective. That just because Scott supports a candidate you may not like it might not be for the reasons you dislike them. As much as I want MatPat to take over FnaF, since he seems so god damn dedicated to the franchise and as well deserved as it would be....If MatPat takes over FnaF, he wouldn’t only be blessed with the answers to all our queries about the franchise, but would he still make theory videos? Since he already has the knowledge and answers to every thought out detail, he can’t really make ‘fake’ theory videos so I guess that would be the end of fnaf content on the channel unless it was promoting it. I could potentially get over that factor if it means MatPat has that opportunity however.

Im glad i watched this. After watching the latest FNAF game, i found your channel and started binging all the FNAF videos while ive been sick. WOW it is a lot to catch up on lol. But you are amazing for how you addressed everything. It is very mature.
As someone of the LGBTQ+, I was definitely shocked when I heard the news of scott leaving, though (as my friend as told me) someone doxxed him which made it it even worse, another thing is is that someone HAD to go digging for that information and low and behold I think they kind of got the drama they wanted in a way

I just don't like how MatPat didn't address the death threats that was sent to Scott and his unborn child. It sickened me to see that most of those comments were from those of said community sadly.

I miss Scott, he was the ultimate lore makes and made the first few games, he was just excellent and I still admire him.
I’m not going to lie, this is probably the best “response” video in KRplus’s history. Our political system is kinda stuck in this infinite loop of having to choose which thing can progress that the country needs and other needs that get tossed out the window. Seriously, if more people understood that and were willing to work to change that, this country could genuinely become the greatest place on the planet. Much respect MatPat from a long time viewer.

When I saw who he was supporting for the American elections, I didn't care at ALL.
