I haven't played pokemon tcg in a long time, but I am wondering if when a pokemon gets KO does the new active pokemon that will replace have to be from the bench or can it be a basic pokemon from your hand as well?
I'm glad that there's a tutorial and this video, but honestly, I'm unsure if i want to get back into this... i just downloaded the app the other day and was bodied hard, so i will keep me and my skill issues away from the casual scene as well as the competitive...
No mention of Pokemon abilities, types, weakness, resistance, retreat cost, retreating once per turn, different types of trainer cards, only being able to play one supporter per turn, only being able to play one stadium per turn, stadium cards in general, VMAXs, VSTARS, VUnions, Vstar abilities/attacks, VStar Markers, the lost zone placement on the board, tool cards, and what cards are considered Standard.

Downloaded the Pokemon TCG Live for PC currently stuck on the select language and it cannot even go past it, restarted my windows 10 pc, ran it as administrator, changed the capability and still no luck! When to the official pokemon tcg community for an answer with no luck but a "submit a ticket" really crappy

the absolutely ridiculous prices of physical tcg products made me quit collecting the real stuff a long time ago, but now that the ptcgo has been deleted and replaced with a microtransaction infested- unplayable mess it's time for me to quit pokemon as a whole (the buggy scarlet/ violet already made me lose interest in the games aswell so good job pkmn).
Live sucks compared to Online. The UI is terrible, there’s no trading, you only get five cards from a code card, the Black/White, X/Y, Sun/Moon and most of the Sword/Shield expansions are missing from the online store, and it’s ridiculously boring. Please bring back all the good Online had going for it!
Honestly, I agree with everything you said here. I also hate the fact they completely erased some cards from existence without saying anything like I spent 2mins or so trying to figure out where the heck my double dragon energy card was at as I know I had a few and couldn't find it at all.
How to play Pokemon TCG: 1. Come to a local store to play. 2. Your opponent spends 15 minutes on their first turn playing solitaire, gets multiple energies, draws 20+ cards, knocks out your Pokemon, passes the turn. 3. Stop playing Pokemon TCG.

@@singami465 Welcome to competitive card games. It's called the meta. It's how literally every card game is. You have deck archetypes that work well and everything else. As for the turn 1 stuff - I expect you've only played once or twice because that's not at all normal. Go watch some tournament footage.

@heavyarms55 This is ignoring the fact that, during the Sun & Moon era, the game was incredibly designed and accessible, so much so that people still organize SM-LOT events. You're defending a broken, powercreeped game.
not only is the app with 100's if not 1000's of bugs, the overall game is for children to grasp comprehensive reading and elementary level math. this game is a horrible measure for any sort of "skills" it's the silliest of all card games. just watch any of the coverage and see how many non games there are due to prizing and "luck of the draw" lmao
