    I miss Antoine Bethea, he was one of my favorite players on defense. I got his autograph at training camp one year, I had just gotten Donald Brown's autograph and looked to my right and there was Bethea standing right next to me.

    • @Vichedges
      @Vichedges 3 년 전 +38

      Sanders was in no way, shape or form "underrated". He got all the credit in the world when he played....he just didn't play much.
      I remember on the old Indy Star Colts message boards fans saying they didn't care if Sanders only played 6 games a year as long as he was ready for the playoffs lol.
      I mean, I loved Sanders when he was healthy but the Colts relied on him too much and paid him too much. And since he was almost never healthy when he wasn't ready to go they were really affected.
      Sanders is a huge reason they won the SB in 2006 but he's also (IMO) a huge reason why they didn't win another one. Out of 128 possible games during his career the guy only played in 50. He just couldn't stay healthy.

Ryan “Let’s Draft Phillip Dorsett in the First Round Even Though Andrew Luck is Getting Severe Internal Injuries Because Of Our Awful Offensive Line” Grigson should be sued by the Colts organization and by Andrew Luck himself for his complete negligence and incompetence. Mathis is 110% correct about Antoine Bethea being replaced by LaRon Landry. It was a dumb move. Landry was a SS and we put him at FS when the guy had poor coverage skills. He didn't stay healthy despite being extremely juiced up.
    "Bethea, who turns 36 on July 27, is a three-time Pro Bowl selection who provided a veteran presence at the back end of the secondary for the New York Giants after signing a two-year deal last offseason. He served as a team captain in his first season with the team. Bethea appeared to lose a step or two in his 14th NFL season despite leading the Giants with 110 tackles -- his eighth season with 100 or more.
    In 2018, Bethea started 16 games for the Arizona Cardinals and set a career high with three sacks. He also had 4 passes defensed, a forced fumble and 121 tackles. In 2017, he notched a career-best five interceptions for the Cardinals. He started his career with the Indianapolis Colts, where he played eight seasons and won a Super Bowl. In addition to the Giants and Cardinals, he has also spent time with the San Francisco 49ers. For his career, Bethea has 1,333 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 25 interceptions, 9 forced fumbles (7 recoveries) and a defensive touchdown."

    I think Grigson was a life long Baltimore fan and hated the Colts for leaving and set out to snowball the Colts.

      He was most likely a Bears fan. He grew up in Highland Indiana. Northwest Indiana is da bastard of da state. More like Illinois than Indiana.

    Grigson was a fox in the hen house, destroyed the Colts from the inside out. Feels dirty mentioning his name.

    I think Grigson had the walls painted over to not show the Colts history so they could focus on the present and the future and not the past. But i could be completely wrong and there could've been another reason why that happened. Grigson is one of those arrogant guys that thinks he knows everything about everything.

      It’s an anti-inflammatory steroid injection. They think it’s some big time pain killer because they don’t know any better. Honestly it’s not much better then IBprophen.

      @@ryand4533 they give them enough of it that you don't notice you're turning a minor injury into a career ender until it's way too late. It doesn't need to be heroine to have a permanent, negative effect. It's just because of what staff makes players do, not because it's chemical X.

      Julian Lesk In my experience it’s worthless. I’ve been giving Toradoll shots several times and it doesn’t do anything. If I had to go out and play football on an injured knee Toradoll wouldn’t help. I think the Drs lie to them. I’ve worked slave labor jobs half my life no way I would be able to work on an injury with a Toradoll shot unless it was stacked with another actual pain killer.
