If these Supreme Court justices are so hell bent on modelling archaic laws, then how can the common man be confident in getting a fair judgement in these courts?!
I would agree with you if they tried to say abortion is illegal, but they didn't. They sent it back to the states which is about as close as you get to a correct call. The Constitution doesn't directly list it as a federal issue so states should have authority. Plus the nation is greatly divided with some folks wanting strict laws against abortion, some wanting some guidelines and others want no guidelines at all. Each state decides on its own.

Ha! Your attitude is exactly why we need humor! The late night comedy got me through trump and covid. Unthinking people turned covid into a divisive issue instead of allowing it to humble and unite us. Trumpites cost lives and billions of dollars unnecessarily, dividing our country. Trump was terrifying even before elected. I thought my heart would just stop from the heartbreak that son of darkness brought to our nation and world, yet i knew God had/has His own plans, and He can be trusted. Psalm 2 says He laughs at the plans of the wicked leaders...holds them in derision. The Psalm is explicit about their fate, and we have seen it around the world. Still, we were witnessing the dismantling of America by a man who saw the power and pomp of dictators, and it was like blood to a shark. We helplessly watched this horror unfold. The House watched in horror as this philistine and his cult used our Constitution and laws against us. But no one of ethical persuasion gave up knowing that ultimately they could make a good historical difference. Some truly believe in the LORD and could not follow evil's way. We sought the Lord and He heard us. In the meantime the concern was SO HEAVY except for the humor that was also a teaching tool. And it helped us to link arms and not feel alone. Not everyone was looking the other way. Not every Believer had been corrupted to their core! Comedy (and Scripture) was a unique ray of sunshine at an incredibly dark time, and is again now as we either are finding our moral footing again as a nation and world, or fall just too divided to truly help our world and especially, our Nation recover its Goals and Spiritual roots that were the frame of ethics behind our Declaration and Constitution. Pray, love, and laugh together; we can do this if we care enough.
