When he talks to the camera, and says "Honey..." for a split second, I feel special.
Playing to the plants, I feel, has a deeper meaning. Maybe they enjoy it on another level. It's beautiful.

It’s scientifically proven that plants react to sound. Also animals, they’ll play classic music to relax cows for example when being milked
@@Alexis84DE yup exactly & they also react to & "talk" to each other, so having so many in the one room, with the music through it, no doubt they were also sharing their thoughts about it & loving the entire experience just as much as any human audience would (probably more, because it's new to them)

I love the plant audience!!!!! Plants are far smarter than humans give them credit for, they no doubt genuinely enjoyed it. They were probably chatting to each other like mad, sharing & loving the experience & will probably talk about the experience to all the other plants they meet in the future.
We can't hear plants talking, cause they do it through chemicals, but they can hear & understand each other & because of the difference in how they talk, they could have done it without disturbing the performance too :)

There's lots of different info out there about this, this is quite a nice overview of some stuff plants do goodnature.nathab.com/research-shows-plants-are-sentient-will-we-act-accordingly/ videos are even better, like the one "what plants talk about" & there's another one that shows "dancing plants" that "dance" in response to people playing music to them. Plants are fascinating :) Especially if we use time lapse photography to watch them :)

I doubt they went to sleep :) Ever heard of the "dancing plant"? It responds to music by moving. The music probably woke them up & had them hugely stimulated & enjoying it
