I watched this back when it came out, and I am 18 currently, and this video hit so hard. Last semester, I went to university for physics and math and I was dead the entire way through right from the beginning. Like those two were my favourite subjects, and I was failing. It literally destroyed me. I've never had such a hard time, and everyone around me seemed like they were doing great. Like what was wrong with me? I realized late into the semester that it was okay to just calm down, and work on yourself. I wasnt failing because I was stupid -it was the 'boss' in my head that'd berate me constantly. By the end of the sem, my life got improved when I just let myself be free. Giving myself some love was the only reason I passed.
Growing up means you're your own boss, but when that boss hates the shit out of you, you'd remember how nice it was when someone else who cared about you was in control. But I do want my own life, and I guess understanding how to love yourself is apart of adulthood.

Perry the Platypus!
You'll find your passion. I've been lost searching for what has felt like ages, coming to closed doors and missed opportunities. But so long you don't quit looking, you're bound to find something. Maybe try thinking about what truly makes you happy in life, is it money or your own happiness? I pursue music in hopes of being happy and living a fulfilled life, whether I have money or not because I am passionate about it. It took years to muster up the courage to do it, but I promise once you get there you will feel euphoria. Just keep swimming my friend, water might be rough but it's a constant stream down the way.
@@thelostcause_7377 music is overrated and saturated, get a job hippie.

There is no way to look at chores or cycles, that makes them better. Especially not with my family. We go OUT to eat for dinner and *still* somehow wind up with a sink full of dishes by midnight....somehow. THey are never ending here lol. I legit loathe doing dishes.
Hey it’s really hard with my situation.
Now that I’m 23, it’s hard figuring life out sometimes and I stress myself out. As I continue to grow up into the early teens, I’ve been seeing a lot of people I graduated high school with already have degrees, dream jobs, starting families etc, I would always have a feeling as if I’m not making progress in life. I still feel that way sometimes, but something that I just tell myself is that everyone figures out their life at their own pace. Remember that each of our journeys are different, so never compare yourself to other people. We will all figure it out eventually! Becoming and adult was the best thing that had happen to me. I am now 28 and i would never even dream of comming back to school. The only thing i can agree is being tired part. I work out and run regularly and yet i still feel tired.

Puberty Platypus's last segment was so realistic. Everyone expects that after high school one's vision for life would clear up no matter how little it does but it really hits you hard when you don't really feel any different than you did back then.
For me media addiction also compounds these issues since I don't really get anything done despite having no obligations (maybe that'spart of the problem)

Yeah.
I remember being in my mid-20s and having no idea, being overwhelmed and afraid of life. But at the same time, I had the most fun ever between 25 and 32. Now that I'm in my mid-30s, I'm more focused on my career, having a nice home and my relationship. On the weekends I hardly go out to have fun, it's more like, "I need to fix my yard, it needs to be ready for summer parties!".
But yea... all in all I see life more relaxed. There are still parts that I'm confused or clueless about, but I realized that we all just have no idea about certain areas of life, so just ask around. Someone will know the answer to your problem, just as you have some advice for others.

7:57 I wish James said "But THATS just the WONDERS of LIIFFEE! Right?"
Jokes on you, I’m 25, watching this video WHILE doing laundry. AND planning on making a whole bag of pasta when I’m done.
It’s called being efficient.

@@somethingiguess8993 No, its reuploading Tommyinnit's Tiktoks.
James is not like other youtubers, he reminds his audience to do the laundry, *he got our backs :)))*
He makes videos not only for entertainment, but to educate us for our safety. What a guy
Slightly confused on that bit considering I’ve been doing my own laundry since I was ten
And buckle our seatbelts 😂

Hey Jess
It took me a bit to figure it out, but if you struggle with social anxiety, burnout, depression, mood swings, and everything in between, there is one solution. GYM! You wont realize it at first but after going at it for the first 2-3 weeks, getting in work consistently, (6 days a week for me), all those problems go away. Your not tired all the time, you feel confident, plus look good feel good. I can not name how many benefits you get from just really pushing yourself in the gym, or just preforming intense physical activity frequently. Plus you also start to meet people at the gym which makes it all even better. Do your self a favor and get in shape. It might hurt while your in there but the pain is momentary. You also start to love it. It only sucks at first. Sorry for rambling. Best of luck to you all!
Being an adult is a million times better than being a kid
The fact that technically our brains are made of whatever we eat made me laugh. Knowing that my brain is basically spaghetti, pizza, and soda crammed into a watermelon is hilarious
Peak efficiency

krplus.net/bidio/ac2NnV2XlJjLZ4Y,
@Paige by the book NO, your brain develops until your mid 20s so it's made of what you ate until then, after that its a slow burn where half of them won't even be replaced when they die over the next 50 years and dementia sets in. Isn't life wonderful :)
So, my brain is made out of nothing but junk food that my chubby-self eats, that explains a lot.

no, ‘puberty videos’ for girls are more like:
“hey guys, you’re gonna want to cry all the time and that’s perfectly natural!” and then they give you a list of everything you’re gonna want to cry over
no they'll tell you it's natural, but then you go into society and men ask you why you're so sensitive all the time or make fun about you being emotional. so hm. school tells me something but society tells me something else.
Also, all of the blood.
