I admire how they now show their real feelings without holding back. This K-drama shows that "having space" then going back to the person you love makes it so much clearer how much you want to be with that person for life. Just like what Ji-ho said about soccer's halftime. You need to understand and evaluate the relationship to make it even better. Imo it is still selfish descision… seehee was deeply depressed and stupor with too much drinking… he already have a history so leaving him at this point was cruel and unnecessary..

She wanted to hear it personally from him (she already knew Se-hee was going to confess his feelings when his boss told her) After he failed to say when she was about to leave, she left and took time to evaluate their relationship and her feelings for him. During that time she realized that despite his unwillingness to open up, she completely misses him and still longed for him. She then headed back to his apartment to confess and start the "2nd half" of their relationship despite knowing that he might not express his true feelings to her in the near future. That's why she was so happy when he cried when he thought he was dreaming and when he got angry with her at the rooftop apartment.
I think she make the right decision to take a break for both of them to reevaluate if the feeling they have is love, no just attachment due to they living together. At least for jiho.
