About Mr. Queen (철인왕후):
A male chef (Shin Hye Sun) has risen up the ranks to find a job cooking for the country’s top politicians in the South Korean presidential residences, the Blue House.
He is something of a dreamer - but one day finds himself in the body of a young queen from Korea’s past, Kim So Yong.
Kim So Yong’s husband is the reigning monarch, King Cheol Jong (Kim Jung Hyun). However, he is only king in name - the late King Sunjo’s Queen, Sun Won (Bae Jong Ok), has taken advantage of Cheol Jong’s better nature, and is ruling the realm in his name.
Queen Sun Won’s brother Kim Jwa Guen (Kim Tae Woo) also has designs on power.
However, Kim So Yong soon discovers that King Cheol Jong harbors secrets, and is not as gentle and meek as he seems…

What an intense "no touch" moment 😂
This is the most intense scene in this show. The frustration the actress portrays, which can be attributed to a number of situations depending on which character you ask, is on point. It's so strong that I can't find the "No touche!" funny. I just feel the deep frustration, the king's guilt, and the desperation on both sides. Some good acting.
Oh come on lighten up, it's a little bit funny. How can you not laugh after a scene like that. No matter how many times I watch it it's funny.
@@akunkem5971 IDK, I see and hear the frustration, anger and hurt and it hits me in my gut. So I can't laugh, just empathize. We are each watching the acene on different levels so it hits of differently. *Shrug*

ugh one of Shin Hyesun and Kim Junghyun's best works. Seriously, I have seen most of their other dramas, but this time both actors can balance each other well. I think it's one of the rare moments where Shin Hyesun meets an actor on the same frequency as her, vice versa with Kim Junghyun. You can see their passion towards acting and both brings out the best of the each other's. They both do excellent jobs essentially playing different sides of characters in their own rights with such depths. The intensity, the back and forth timing, the tension, the delivery overall. I hope they get nominated for Baeksang for this drama!
I don't think he even understands No Touch because they said it in english? He just kept touching her after he agrees with the rule lmao.
Since the queen has the soul of Bong Hwan from the future she/he uses a lot of English words when she's/ he's in the past. The king has no idea what she means but misunderstands everything she says when she tries to explain what the words mean. Later on he writes all the English and future words in a book with his misunderstanding of it, for posterity lol

2024 rewatching this drama for the umpteenth time. This scene is so epic and iconic. The misunderstanding is hilarious when each is determined to convey their take on no touch. So so memorable the bickering as the king lowers his guard and appreciate his queen in all her peculiarities. Watching shin hae sun's welcome to samdalri and here she gave another stellar performance. So in 2023 she did two movies target and brave citizen plus two series see you in 19th life and welcome to samdalri. Talking about her versatility she is amazing as All these are successful production. Well done queenie. ❤❤❤🎉🎉
Shin Hye Sun is amazing 😍 in this role...my first time seeing her in a lead role and she is absolutely nailing it in Mr Queen. She is quickly becoming one of my fav actress ❤

The King finaly understood No Touchee meaning. In the episode where the Queen went home after she collapses ,someone broke into the house at night to kill the King, the King heard the Queen's cousine coming towards them and he wanted to make him jelousy and he grabed the Queen and said, Forget about No Touchee today, and he kissed her.
