What makes a ball NOT bounce: LICKING IT???? Being hard solid, having no pressure on the inside, and being heavy. That's either a different ball or has some cool tricky feature.
take a look at the seams, before michael puts it into the cup, it seems to be a flat, straight seam around the ball, but when michael bounces it into the cup and "gets the ball out of the cup", the seam becomes odd and uneven, because this is actually just a neoprene and polynorbornene ball being switched.
Easy trick: the mug already had a black ball that doesnβt bounce in it, and all he did was removed that ball from the mug and not the ball that originally bounced in.
The seams of the balls are also different. The second one is larger and more jagged. You can see him feeling in the cup for a moment to get the right one.
