During Crayon Pop's active period, were you prohibited from having your own KRplus channels? When you were an active idol, did you want a KRplus channel (outside of Crayon Pop TV)? 꺅~~~웨이다!! 사실 요즘 tv는 점점 구시대의 유물이 되어 가고 있으니까 시간이 지날수록 tv가 차지하는 부분은 점점 더 작아질듯! tv는 방송촬영시간도 길고, 출연자에 대한 제약도 많고, 시청자의 입장에서 보면 먼발치에서 보는 느낌이지만 유튭은 바로 옆에서 이야기를 듣는 기분이라 더 가까운 느낌을 받게 돼. 유튭이 아니었다면 이런 양방향 대화도 불가능하고, 내 경우에는 웨이에 대해 알 기회도 거의 없었을테니 웨이를 이렇게까지 좋아하지 않았겠지?ㅋ

knowing how the pay is similar + the entry barrier is alot lower + more TV producers moving to YT (and ofc its only the best way to reach out to international audiences since we don't have access to Korean TV channels), I'm really wondering how TV will stay alive.
tbh I don't even watch my own country's local TV channels anymore other than news etc.. so I'm seriously wondering how this will affect the formal broadcasting industry 🤔

Hey Way, I have a question. Most kpop companies (BigHit fpr example) say that they're looking for passioante people more than insanely talented people. I think I'm passionate myself, but how do you show that through online audition?

I can tell Way recorded this herself. 2:06 the second camera is out of focus for the whole length of the video so the editor was only able to use 0.1 seconds of footage. :D

It seems to me that KRplus allows the content creator to try new things or change direction much easier than TV. With TV, the number of shows per network is limited because any one channel cannot broadcast more than one show at at time for any particular time slot. Therefore, before airing a show, the network needs to have confidence that show will be popular and the network needs to figure out when it will air. With KRplus, the time and date of upload, the number of uploads and the frequency of uploads is unlimited. Each KRplus channel is in some sense competing with other channels, but the resource they are competing for is a time slot, but an effectively infinite number of views. Because of this, a KRplus creator could create and upload content that wouldn't get a chance on TV because the network might not be confident that it will be popular (or popular enough).
