@@maryam200 cafes that make craft like this in America are rare and usually asian. Western Cafe culture roots came from casual cheap diners and is different from Korea or Asia in general. Yes there are some cafes that serve high quality coffee especially in metropolitan cities but the culture is more rush & go, drive thru. In Korea it's more take your time and actually enjoy the crafts from the baristas, sit and relax in the environment.
@@maryam200 i've been walking in NYC and have yet to find a cute cafe like this. Even if i did find a cafe it's usually very small with limited options. The staff aren't so gentle and happy like her either! although i haven't been all over NYC the area i usually travel to doesn't have any cute cafes :/

Bea Badjar / Well, it’s a fun video to watch for sure, but I’m also watching this through the lens of product development, so a lot of the materials and packaging used in their business are not environmentally friendly, whereas Starbucks is in constant cycles of restructuring their product lines to reduce wastage. That isn’t to say Starbucks gets a pass (the clear plastic lids they’re using in place of straws are pretty ridiculous), but they can do more. Japanese packaging is pretty intense too. So while I do think the end product in these vids are undeniably fabulous, I think the materials used could be improved.
@@aridante4110 when they put 1 ice cream in a big ass plastic bag omg 😩 i mean they do this bcs of their cafe aesthetic but still they could add smaller plastic or sell reusable cup/straw. And for japanese packaging, it do have an extreme plastic waste but japanese people are discipline at throwing away their trash and i think the government have a good handling (idk what word more suitable to explain it) at recycling their waste
I think it might be due to COVID that there needs to be alternative packaging to be available for takeouts so that there can be less crowding :(

Do you have all the recipes memorized or do you have a “cheat sheet” to look up recipes?
I really want to work at a cafe but besides the fact that we really don’t have cafe culture here in the U.S. I think I’d feel so overwhelmed trying to memorize every single drink, or desert
There usually is a cheat sheet :) one thatll say what menu item is and how its prepared so employees wont have to stress about memorizing 🤗 though after working for a while it becomes muscle memory and you wont have to really look at it anymore lol
Once I worked at Haggen dasz & they gave you a notebook with the recipes and you have to memorize it but I think they have the drink's ingredients if you forget it.
Ps: I hope u can understand, I'm not an english speaker 😆
