    Olivia and her family are still suffering from some bizarre form of dissociative disorder. Olivia is what she is, and that's nothing new. There have been other cute girls whose character and focus never strayed far from being the vapid, shallow girls that they are......no crime in that, per se. She didn't turn out to be another Lindsay Lohan, so there's that, but what she and her family did is serious. Not one of them has ever publicly taken responsibility for or apologized for what they conspired together to do. I think that's the wedge issue. They deliberately, intentionally chose to commit felony federal crimes. That takes premeditation and deliberate intent. It wasn't a mistake or an error in judgement. They refuse to accept and acknowledge responsibilities for the choices they made. Olivia has tried in the past to dismiss it as white privilege that she just wasn't aware of.....she's stating, in effect, that it happened due to forces she couldn't control. She characterized it as a mistake, but it wasn't. It was a choice to lie, cheat and steal. Everything that she does now is a carefully crafted PR strategy to ingratiate her way back into her brand deals. Similarly, people's perception of her isn't based on deceptive misreporting in the media. It's a matter of record on her own social media and other public records. Her image and the fallout on all of this is based on who she presented herself to be and the choices that they made as a family. So, with Olivia, you get everything but the truth. She can't envision herself as being anything more or doing anything more than what she's been doing since she was 14.....that's the source of her stress. Maybe, just maybe it's time for her to move on. What is she angling at?

      You can make a choice and not be aware of the implications - as in who it affects, etc if you are blinded by privilege. I don’t think this young girl deserves to suffer the rest of their life. She didn’t know. I believe she has a beautiful heart and talent. Although what happened is serious, what’s most important is the lessons learned, and for them to make it right. Hatred isn’t the answer. Hating on someone like that for a mistake, for the rest of their lives is a reflection of the hater rather than it is her at this point.

    • @searchingsoul1728
      @searchingsoul1728 2 년 전 +8

      @@christinaa3026 She didn't know that fraud and cheating and posing for things that she was not engaged in was wrong? Most of us learned that in elementary...and cemented that by the time we arrived at high school. Remember she has also been exposed to more of the world than an average person so the statement about her privilege somehow blinding her into naivety is not fitting. She would be more exposed to the world and the inner workings than most kids that go to school and go straight home. She knew what she was getting into.
      And how about letting her work hard to get to where she wants to be instead of using her parents' fame and her money to shortcut the path?

    • @foreveralive6949
      @foreveralive6949 2 년 전 +9

      @@christinaa3026 Nope, not buying that. To be clear, Olivia isn't now and nor will she "suffer" for the rest of her life. Does anyone honestly believe that she has, is now or ever will suffer? A little perspective, please. The source of Olivia’s stress is obvious, don’t ya think? She wasted her life for 20+ years without having gotten an education or preparing to build a future. She squandered her time and privilege preening herself in front of a mirror/ camera. Such a horrible and wasteful extravagance. I want young women to know that their lives are too precious and their time too valuable to waste it all following and supporting someone like Olivia. Prior to the taping of this interview, Olivia had been eliminated from the show for a week. Who called and asked for this interview? The answer is likely either she and/or Val-maybe even Olivia’s mother . I have no hate for anyone, but I am a mother of 2 beautiful young teenage girls, and I wouldn't want Olivia's influence on my girls. Success in the public eye is an earned privilege, not a right. Those who are offended by Olivia and her family have no moral obligation to support their return to their lives of privilege and the perks that go with it. I've tried as a Mom to ask Olivia to respond to my concerns on her social media pages. Her response? She deletes my comments. Truth, honesty and taking responsibility aren’t trademarks of her family. They've successfully skirted around this issue since the story broke. What they want to do now is sweep the landfill under the rug. What I'm looking for is an admission of responsibility for the crimes they committed.
      It’s not a secret that Olivia is inherently lazy and sought every short cut that she could in this life to extend her adolescence into adulthood. She has admitted herself on previous occasions that she even wanted to drop out of high school in her senior year. She's lazy, dishonest and undisciplined. That is a horrible example to set for young women. She has no regard for the value of an education or the sacrifice and hard work that her peers invest in their own futures. Add to that the attempt to lie, cheat and steal along with her family--they're dishonest people. Olivia knew perfectly well what was going on and she participated in this scheme. It all took place with her knowledge and approval. You don’t have to dig too far to find the evidence for that. The system was already slanted in her favor, and she and her family still had to resort to criminal behavior to buy a future for her. I want all young women to have inspiring, principled role models they can look to, and Olivia isn't one of those people. I worked hard for my degree, as did my classmates. My girls are working hard to prepare for their futures. The lives of young women are worth so much more than the shallow, self-absorbed principles and goals that guide Olivia’s life. She needs to put in the heavy lifting and hard work necessary to build a future for herself instead of appealing to young girls to support her self-indulgent lifestyle.
