What about the time that French guy on TUF said French people were tough and never quit and then he quit before the 2nd round?
That was so sad, it was hilarious.
Thay should be #1
Cyril Gane?
Didn’t the French give up in ww2
@@omarmagnus25 ya
Andy Wang was a warrior. If only they followed the path of Wang they would never give up
Pound for pound #1, undefeated, never bled, never lost a round. Andy "The warrior" Wang
Dude in the fight with Tom Fulton is a real class act. I respect what he did. His career and his record didn't mean as much as his respect did. It's not often that you see that. A fighter typically beats their idol and bows in respect afterwards. I.e. Adesanya v. Silva, Ali v. Holmes. Liston v. Ali. So in the position where he could have furthered his career, he took the high road.
Fulton killed himself after being caught with child p..n
But I wonder how he feels after what happend with Fulton's career and life 😬
Honestly that made me a huge fan. He knew he won the fight but didn’t wanna cause anymore damage to a man he respected enough to get him tattooed on his body. Absolute definition of class act, wish that one asshole dude the same with Ali instead of beating him up.
@@Ren602 if only he knew who fulton really was, he would have killed him instead
@Demonic Warlord he should have ended him there
i can totally understand any of these guys quitting, but i really empathize with someone quitting against mvp. I can’t imagine having to deal with him beating the shit out of me with highlight reel attacks combined with highlight reel taunts.
For real, no shame in it. Absolutely don't blame the guy for quitting against MVP he was getting humiliated. Must be a horrible feeling
@@benparton1849 humiliated AND hurt. I wouldn’t quit if I was getting humiliated at something less dangerous. I understand the attitude of going out on your shield, but in the end it’s just not worth it. I can’t imagine the regret i would have if i were him and i decided to stick it out and ended up getting my skull shattered like evangelista santos.
The epitome of adding insult to injury.
Hearing Leben say I'm done was so crazy he had no hope left
And you won't meet a tougher dude.. the shots he walked through were crazy.. like the terminator just kept coming.. sad to see
every one of these guys are not tough at all. if you quit in a professional fight, you're sorry. lose the fight like a man.@@codyeble6764
This is a classic.
Please do a sequel.
Nothing wrong with quitting why receiving unnecessary punishment. Fighters should do it more often or even corners.
Nothing wrong with quiting.. especially in a fight.
in a cage fight yea but u cant if ur in the streets bruh its go hard or go home
You never quit, Especially in a fight.
@@debbiemiller4281 says someone who has apparently never been in a fight. LOL
@@debbiemiller4281you have never fought
@@skinnylizard2468 Don't let my handle name fool ya homie.
Brandao had every right to flip out
He was a dirty fighter anyways
@@codyeble6764 he is and has a short fuse
No Nick Diaz v Lawler 2?
that wasn't Nick quitting, that was Nick stopping the fight to not take unnecessary damage because he was completely done but he had given the fight everything he had until that point
@@EzraH214 that's called quitting
@@EzraH214 isn't that exactly like the dude in the video who fought on one week preparation?
Nate almost quit from Ferguson's leg kicks.
@@tenacminotauro9541 Nate was playing around and having fun in that fight doing what he does best, if you think that was Nate "almost quitting" you probably haven't seen Nate fight before
Penn wld fight anyone going up fighting gsp guy will always be a legend
Man this is depressing, but imagine being broken down that much man, just broken in your spirit, done.
The penn one was brutal, I was a big fan of Penn, like not a diss, felt so bad for him
Yeah, I remember wanting Penn to win against GSP so bad, but no one was going to beat him in that era. Except Matt Serra...
Chris Leben was one of the toughest MMA fighters of all time, he took so much punishment in his career, even in wins. Guys head belongs on Easter Island. Glad he called his last fight, he didn't need more damage. Glad to hear he's doing well training MMA in HI I think in BJ penns gym.
Loved Roger Huerta sad to see him just quit that fight & have this bad of a losing streak. He was a beast & fun to watch during his prime
His fake glove touch was too much for me...
Imagine tapping out to save your "hero" Travis Fulton.... wonder how ol boy feels about that fight now. 😬😬😬😬
NICE ONE
I recently broke my right hand. I felt nauseous, dizzy and almost threw up because of the pain.
The kind of bravery needed to step into an octagon and fight is something very few people have it in them.
Pussy
I tore the main ligament in my knee and shredded like 15% of my skin off while longboarding and still walked a mile to get home
Jesus my guy. First broken bones?
@@stillcantbesilencedevennow I've once had my toe broken before, I slipped and hit a cupboard but since I'm a right handed person, life got a lot more difficult.
@@SweetSourPickle I dropped an ammo can on my toe once. 50lbs, smashed it flat. Worst pain of my life. Didn't QUITE get nauseous, but it sucked terribly for weeks afterwards.
@@stillcantbesilencedevennow I literally felt like throwing up after my right hand broke. It was probably the impact idk why, it was terrible feeling.
What song is that at the end of the vid? I heard that whistling song on another video and just curious.
Takes courage to quit when one knows they're done, knowing what people will say. Got to not care what the mob thinks
I respect a fighter who realizes he’s going to take more harm then it’s worth.
Ivey is a class act for what he did
Even tho these guys quit, u have to respect what they have done being a fighter on a professional level because u have to be a different breed to want to be a fighter
I remember when Max Roshkopf quit on the stool. He arguably won the first round
he definitely won 1st round, but he was dead after the second
Had no chance of winning after the second. Glad he didn’t go out and continue to take unnecessary damage
I dont think any of us are in a position to criticize these men.
Facts. I got all the respect for the men and women who step into the cage
Anyone remember a fight in the UFC where the moment one of the guys got full mount the other tapped out? I swear I’ve seen a fight go down like that but I don’t remember who fought, any remember?
What about the time Ken Shamrock quit mid-fight because he thought he was having a heart attack?
Prochazka vs Nemkov in Rizin definitely missing piece there.
Damn, watching Max Roshkopf broke my heart......dude was done and broken...
Yeah but Dana saying he was brave and shit and then cutting him off? Come on man. Dana is a pos
🇨🇦
Hindsight says dude should of continued to beat up Travis Fulton
Kudos to anyone getting in their but man ya would want to a tough fella to take the punishment !
There's no sense in taking unneeded damage and there's no shame in realizing you are outmatched. At the end of the day, these fighters still have their health and families that love them.
Nick Diaz vs lawler 2 and also Dan hooker vs claudio puelles
Any one who is willing to step into the ring is not a quitter 99% men prob didn't even set 1 step in ring let alone in mma
Trust me stepping into an octagon especially like I did months ago for the first time is surreal especially in a moment where I was sick and wasn’t fit to really fight. People pretend they are fighters until it’s actually time to spar let alone fight
@@hms9891 100% agree I've never had a cage fight but I speak out of experience of getting jumped by 2 people and I had to defend myself for few minutes until someone helped me out.
Luton is fucked up.
There is no sense in being beaten up so bad that it affect your health and your career. It is better to retreat, trained harder and live to fight another day.
Francis -Dana
Ropes have no place in mma
Wdym
@@Okboomer9286 can’t get any takedowns they go right through the ropes and fights get reset all the time super frustrating
@@Okboomer9286in Japan they fight mma in a ring
McGregor wants to be on this list he has quit multiple times in fights
man good for Chris Leben. I mean shitty that he got to that point but good for him for choosing to just stop rather than get ko/tko'd again for no reason
There was a ufc event last year where a fighter looked like he lost confidence for a round or 2 then had his corner call the fight. Anyone know that guys name??
Rickles is a monster in BKB...
im really mad that max roshkov was telling his coach hes done and to call it knowing he was outmatched and the coach kept trying to tell him no. horrible job on the coach's part. i get you want your fighter to win but if you know hes outmatched especially because he took the fight on short notice, you need to keep his health in mind
would be funny if when he was crouched down thinking to quit, he took out his phone, made a call, and was like "is that job still available" and then youcould hear him saying like yeah yeah size 32 waist and hangs up
No matter what's said if you quit your done
If ya hadn't held the ropes, homie wouldn't have felt the need to move you. Blame the game, not the player.
I think it’s the player at fault no?
The “game” is mma ,the fighters are the “players”
The fighter is not following the rules of the game, therefore we blame the player ?
Or do we blame the game for having rules in the first place ?
I’ve confused myself now .
It’s even more embarrassing to quit after you just got a ass whippin😂 no heart pure weakness💯
Leben is a veteran. He knew he was ko'd
Yeah for the top 3 guys in the division, there's usually a good story. Hundreds of thousands of other stories of failure that never get told, is what this sport is really about.
Man I wish I wasn't so dumb.
Charles Oliviera vs Holloway could've been in here honestly
He couldn’t breathe
Torn esophagas lad
Anyone that quits in their first UFC debut isn't going to make it.
You got to want it more than that.
Can't really come back from it.
Its quitting when you gave everything you had ?
I would prefer that fighters called it if they had nothing left and it wouldn’t be looked down on.
The human body can only take so much
I dislike the mindset that quitting is just a bitch move. I feel like it takes more strength to know when it it's time to be done Rather than continue. Better that than it be too late, and that can go for almost everything. That's just my thoughts on things like these.
If you've never actually took part in any physical sport's or anything that requires a gun shield or mouth guard, you wouldn't understand how hard it is for them to just fall out unintentionally... Yes it happens, but it's literally a 1 in 10,000 chance. IMO it's a mouth shaped white flag being spat into the centre of if the ring!
why do coaches keep telling people to keep going when the fighter says they want to call it?
because thats there job?
I hope they have Nick Diaz in this. "No mas" vs tomato can robbie lawlor.
Lol couch potato calling someone a tomato can that would murder you with strikes 😂
Travis Fulton is known for having fixed fights. I don’t for a second believe all that bs about his idol.
I love that Pat Smith was blatantly cheating then got stroppy with the ref after someone tried to stop him
I’d quit to if I got paid 30k for a ufc bout lol
Nick vs Robby... you missed...
Ya I was wondering where the buck Diaz one was.. seeing those legends like him and Leben who have taken so much punishment and kept moving forward after all these years quit was so sad, I'm happy they didn't push themselves anymore tho, smart decisions
@@codyeble6764 Lol... I accidentally typed Nate instead of Nick...
@@codyeble6764 smart decisions but sick people call them quiters...
If you actually believe you’re gonna get seriously hurt, then you should quit. Quitting is better than CTE or TBI’s
Funny, 7 channels have basically made this exact same video
The GSP vs Penn bout shouldn't be there. GSP used vaseline to cheat Penn in their fight. They say that is was Phil Nurse's fault but he represented GSP so it is GSP's fault.
This was posted 1 day ago and you didn't add Nick Diaz? FAIL
Nothing wrong with these warriors . They already have the guts to step in the cage that a lot of people in this world will never even attempt. Sometimes you rather save your own health
#1 should have been Nick Diaz quitting against Lawler while sitting on his butt. How embarrassing that he retired as a defeated quitter.
Anyone that quits in my opinion is a coward.
4:22 false, ufc had lots of super fights before that one.
BJ Penn didn't really train
Leben had health problems
No shame in saving brain cells.
Where is Bob Sapp though?
We all know Frenchy and 'Grease-gate'.. so No, Frenchy did not win
Oh shit fighters are human too ??? I thought they were relentless Demi gods!!!!
Wait ? No Nick Diaz ?
No shame in any of these guys.
Where is conor?
When did Conor quit? This video isn't about getting subbed you know right?
Anthony Smith is a quitter
Then why did he not become champ against jones?
Where's Charlie Olives? He should be here cause he's a quitter.

Quit? Thats a harsh title
You post this shit every week
Hell Japan has them guys ready to slap your hands off the ropes in Pride fighting championship
Quittings an option. If your weak don’t fuckin fight. Simple
Coaches should no better and call it not the fighter ! Hats off to any fighter that steps in the octagon
