Bulbasaur is the best gen 1 starter
Reasons: double type since first form, effective against the first 3 gym leaders straight up at the start, (super effective to the first two), grows up faster, has sleep powder and poison powder, that can be used to easily catch more pokemon as you adventure

OMG! I was going through my pokemon handbook and I found this entry for chimchar. "Even the rain can't put out chimchar's fiery tail, which is fueled by the gases in its stomach.". The exact same thing as the theory.

Bulbasaur will always be my favorite, one of these days your going to end up in the hospital doing the pokemon theories

Actually all 3 starters have their merits:
-Bulbasaur is the most veristile and all out most consistent starter
-Squirtle has the best stats from these starters (talking more about Blastoise here) and is good team anker
-Charmander would usualy be my last choice, since the other2 make the start a cakewalk, but he is a good firetype and if you don't take him it will take a while until you get another usefull firetype.

Fire whirls and Fire tornadoes (or technically, Pyrotornadoes) are actually separate phenomena.
Fire whirls are just as Matpat described, however they can produce windspeeds equivalent to tornadoes. The Carr fire in 2018 produced an enormous fire whirl which caused wind damage comparable to an EF3 Tornado with windspeeds around 150mph. It melted cars and tore the bark off trees before hurling them around.
Fire Tornadoes, AKA Pyrotornadoes, are a recently classified phenomenon that are much closer to real tornadoes. The updraft of a wildfire can sometimes produce its own thundercloud, a Pyrocumulonimbus cloud. Under certain conditions, this fire-induced thunderstorm can rotate and take om the characteristics of a Supercell, the type of storms that produce tornadoes, and with the extra boost of the fire's updraft, a tornado can form and touch down inside the fire.

Bulbasaur is the best, because the first gym is rock type, and bulbasaur is grass type. Rock is weak to grass. The second gym is water type, and water is weak to grass. Since Charmander is fire type, and fire is weak to water, said charmander would be dead faster. Squirtle is water type, and water type resists itself. Thus, squirtle wouldn’t do anything to any of Misty’s pokémon. And so, said bulbasaur is the best starte-

I saw that beginning, I paused when the intro started, I looked into the sunsent while re-thinking my life

It may not be the bombardier beetle theory for some Pokémon, but the way dragons breathe fire. Rayon’s breathe fire by using their scales or teeth (most commonly probably teeth) to light their fire. Someone may have the question by now: No, none of this works because it doesn’t have something flammable in it’s body that stays there forever. Yes it does, but it recharges, and it’s gas. A dragon can’t just decide when it wants to stop shooting fire. The gas stays lit until the gas is gone, causing the dragon needing to wait until the gas recharges. It MAY be the way other Pokémon shoot their fire. Oh yeah, my favorite Pokémon may be Charmander but Bulbasaur is the best Kanto starter because it is super effective against rock and water type.

Fire Spin is annoying at best. It can really only cripple you if you’re already receiving chip damage from another move (like Leech Seed) or have an HP-lowering status condition. All that chip damage adds on top of Fire Spin’s chip damage, but honestly I’ve never once found it worth the effort to set up that much chip damage for an opponent unless it’s Snorlax, Walrein, GARCHOMP, Slaking, or other pokemon that just outlast and/or heal.
