Somethings I noticed about the mv:
Arrows = the hurtful words being said about her
- the arrows shot at her outside her house
- then she enters the house and arrow follow her to her living room and even bedroom
- the locations keep getting smaller and more confined
- she decides to run away and once she turns her back she gets shot
(When she shot the arrow it could be that she started beleive those hate words about her and once her own self said those things about her that's when she was actually shot)
- so she realizes the only way they can't harm her is when she faces them, although she's still very hurt
- she takes all her courage and calmly face the arrows
- now the arrows can't hurt her anymore

Who is here. After she sang this in KBS awards? She prepared I love my body and Chili but after that dreadful incident to an actor, she changed into this song.

I only discovered mamamoo today and so I've been binge watching all their music videos in order....this was the first and only to make me absolutely wreck out a sob. Like the way I just started crying bro this song is so painfully beautiful and her voice is mesmerizing and you can hear the pain and EVERYTHING in her voice, the lyrics are so deep and meaningful, the instrumentation the videography...everything. she's so talented and so gorgeous and powerful I'm so whipped bye.

notice how no other arrow hit her except the one *she* shot herself. hwasa once said to a letter addressed to a fan, "The person who can make you unhappy is no one but yourself." and I think that scene depicted what she meant by that perfectly. there have been people who tried to bring her down yes, but they can't touch her. not a single arrow hit her except that /one/. at the end of the day, sometimes her own worst enemy could be herself. hwasa, thank you so much for sharing this kind of vulnerability with the rest of the world. thank you for reminding us that flowers do indeed bloom--even in the falling rain.

the only reason why peoples criticis hwasa is because they were scared of her differences. when hwasa appeared into the publicity with her different skincolour than any other idols, they just cant bear and fear of her differences, people hate difference. we cant change that fact. remember, no matter what colour of your skin is or no matter what religion you are. we are no difference. difference are not matter. we're all the same human being, so please treat everyone nicely bc once you be kind to other, everyone we'll be kind to you after. trust me ;)

LMM shows a crucial message: The arrows that missed Hwasa represent the words of haters, so she was able to overcome them and not let it affect her. What ultimately affected her was the arrow she shot herself, representing feelings of unworthiness and self-doubt. The person that can hurt you the most is yourself. Before you’re strong in the face of others you need to be strong-minded and have belief in yourself.

This MV is so well produced. As we all know the Arrows symbolize "hate" or "negativity" targeted at her. Notice how the arrows keep on coming, no matter where she goes, they are literally everywhere. Lyrics like "we are just trying to avoid it", "do you wanna go somewhere" means how hard she tried to avoid the hate but eventually at 3:55, she decided to face them head-on and instead of walking away from them, she is walking straight towards them. One very important thing to notice here, out of all those arrows the only one that hit her was shot by herself 3:39. This depicts that she is her biggest enemy when it comes to hurting herself (emphasizes too much self-criticism) - this part just broke me. The ending scene is so powerful, look at the number of arrows directed at her, they almost cover the sky. But in the end, none of those arrows hit her and she is standing unscratched, meaning she will always come out stronger against the hate that is thrown at her. This whole cinematic scream how much pain she feels and how she tackles them. LMM was already awesome but with this, it became a cinematic masterpiece.

Remember Hwasa's reply on FanCafe to a highschool moomoo who has gone through a lot: "The person who can make you unhappy is no one but yourself" Hence that one arrow hitting her is too damn meaningful.
Also, the phrase "Flowers do bloom even in rain falling down" is like a conclusion to this MV. "Rain falling down" is referring to the number of arrows that were coming at her in the end scene and Hwasa also referred to as "flower" stood strong till the end saying she will bloom even in this situation.

The arrows represent the hate she gets, her whole life she's been ignoring them not letting them hit her; they are clearly making a disturbance but she wont take it to heart she continues to walk determined to stay on her path and achieve her dream and even when an arrow hits her she stays walking and sings her heart out making the arrow disappear after that she has a smile on her face knowing that as long as she stays walking nothing will hurt her.

So after 3 years I got to know this song through SBS awards 😭🫶🏼 this one is the best of the best that I’ve loved/heard of hwasa’s songs.

Hwasa performing this on sbs awards for lee sun kyun... My heart breaks thinking that she was able to write this and maria because of all the hate she got and even after all that people still target her. I hope she stays strong. If everything becomes too heavy to handle i hope she just quits being a celebrity and enjoy a quiet life instead of doing 'that'

This song represents the celebrities in all kinds of industry all over the world who are dealing with hate and scrutiny of netizens around the world. Im glad hwasa was the one invited to that award show its like coincidence coz she have that song and all the artists felt the same feeling with regards to what happened to lee sun kyun. All of them are trying to hold their tears coz they are also in lee sun kyun feet dealing with hate and criticisms of their own people and netizens around the world.

People who speaks ill of Hwasa seriously need to watch her episodes in I live Alone. She's called the most humble person to ever appear in the show. She might be a badass performer on stage, but she's the most relatable idol that's why the netizens love her especially teenage girls and women. She makes anything she touches sold out after airing of the episode. She were casted in so many variety shows because she's a natural comedian who is not pretentious on-screen. She makes memorable lines and the MC's praise her humility and kindness. Mamamoo is on top with the best fanservice along with Suzy, IU, etc. but even in Mamamoo segment of TMI, she was given emphasis because of how warm and kind she is with her fans. She would kneel down just to sign the cast of an injured fan, kneel down to tie the shoelace of a fan, pick up the fallen belonging of a fan, she would cry with the fan, she would write long message to comfort a suicidal fan, she would preach to just eat when she was asked how to lose weight, she treasures all of the beautiful comments in her instagram account. She would kiss her grandmother warmly on national television, she would hold hands with her dad and people find it unusual, she would write heartwarming letter for her parents in ILA to show her love. She appreciates people and an MC once said, just 5 minutes with Hwasa and you will immediately like her as a person. She's come this far just by being herself and the hate she's getting never lessen despite Mamamoo's speech about it. The hate she's getting in Twitter is honestly unreasonable and inhumane. This woman deserve the love and respect that her fans and casual listeners give her. She's successful and will still be MORE SUCCESSFUL in the future because she has a talent and she's unapologetically herself. She gives her all in all stages big or small, she produce music with meaningful lyrics and are pleasing to ears. She has a soulful voice and is a good dancer as well. If you are still hesitating if you'll stan Mamamoo, I suggest you should. Mamamoo never disappoint. They always deliver. They're funny as hell and many kpop fans would say their idols are the most beagle idols but I'm sorry but Mamamoo fans did not create the idea that Mamamoo are THE Beagle-dols. Its is given to them. Comedians recognize Mamamoo as the beagles of the beagles, among all idols. They are also the GAYEST of all idols, and ofc you can argue your idol for that title BUT evidence speaks louder than words right? 1:02 she acts as if she doesn’t see the hate coming from people what is symbolised by the arrows which where shot in her direction. But they didn’t hit her. They couldn’t hit her because she walked through her path acting like she don’t see the dangerous and dark side of her path she chose(to be the idol in her own way regardless of the idol standards). Seems like no one pointed this out, there's a part 0:56 where she sings repeatedly 휘 (hwee), 휘, 휘, 휘, it can mean 2 things, first 휘 (hwee) could mean the sound that the arrows/wind make, but also, i believe it refers to 휘인 (whee in), another member of MAMAMOO who's Hwasas's best friend since middle school (they had a segment in the variety show I Live Together, episode 323). The next line, 위로해 means "comfort me".
In context, she's reaching out to her closest friend to comfort her in her darkest times when she gets hated on by netizens or when her self-doubt gets to her.
I had been listening to this song for a while but when I first realized this fact I almost cried, it's both beautiful and sad how so few words can express so much, the value of friendship and having someone to lean on when the whole world is against you. And in the end, you can be as rich as you want, as famous as you want or as successful as you want, but during the darkest times, all you really need is someone to lean on, who understands you.

This mv makes me want to cry, I think the arrows represent the hateful words that people say about her, and i think what the arrow hitting her back and then disappearing means that the hateful words do hurt her, she’s not some toy which cannot be hurt but a human. She just chooses to ignore the words and the hurt and move on, hence the arrow disappears. She does not and never deserves the hate she gets. Hwasa is so strong, so beautiful both inside and out, and honestly such a queen. I will support her no matter what happens, i just hope she doesn’t ever get too hurt by the hate she gets. here’s my thoughts :
Hwasa throw one and only arrow and then she got hit by one and ONLY arrow. The arrows threw by the “invisible ones” doesn’t touched her. The hate she gets doesn’t matter but her hate against herself does. Idk if y’all get what I’m trying to say. The only thing that affect her is her opinion about herself. 🤍 Hwasa’s world domination is coming

There are two things I realized on this MV.
First, even when Hyejin's in the most beautiful place, merely walking, sitting, in her bedroom or in a corner.. all that's on her mind are the negative and hateful things people throw at her. The arrows follow her everywhere. And realizing that makes my heart heavy.
And when she shot that single arrow, it got right through her. It affected her. Its the arrow she threw herself. Meaning, other's opinion may not matter to her but what she says to herself, especially if she finds herself bad or not worthy, that's what really matter and what's something she is trying her best not to do.

It’s crazy how instead of people praising her for being a confident woman in her own skin, they rather bash her.
