Lets just hope that this pack is actually worth its asking price, i'm normally a pessimist when it comes to sims 4 dlc but i'm optimistic about this pack as it seems to actually have a decent amount of content and gameplay that also appears to be of good quality, i'm just hoping that the legend known as LGR reviews this pack as the guy makes great reviews and speaks honestly about these packs.

Doubtful as I'm sure LGR is completely done with the Sims in general being burnt out. He doesn't even do throwbacks to any of the previous games to play anymore anyway which I always found pretty amusing. Really just watched him for his old school reviews on old hardware, games, software and the sims due to his humor. Never based it off his reviews in my decisions to buy.

I don't base my decision to buy solely on LGRs reviews, but I do find them to be a good and honest way of looking at what a pack is actually like and judging if it's worth the price, I find Carl's sims guide another good KRplus for sims dlc reviews as he too doesn't seem to pull punches when it comes to dlc reviews.

I grew on the sims making magic. So yes. This game kinda help us express ourselves. But I don’t actually like the way EA work it. We’ve got so much DLC but still don’t have gameplay.

This looks like so much fun!! One aesthetic complaint though: I wish the cow/llama home entrances weren’t pitch black. It just looks off to me. I wish they were more like the chicken homes where it sort of fades and looks more natural.

I’m from the UK and his accent isn’t actually rural at all, it’s kind of posh really. But kudos to them for using a genuine British voice actor. It’s kind of a hard accent to properly pull off for a lot of people.

I guess “SimNation” basically consists of the entirety of the First World. Not only does it consist of a sim version of the United States (Del Sol Valley, Strangerville, Oasis Springs, Willow Creek, Newcrest, etc) but it also contains West Germany (Windenburg), Indonesia (Salani), Canada (San Myshuno), Japan (Mount Komorebi) and now England.
Now I’m curious to what countries are outside of Sim Nation… Seeing that something called “Red Nation” was mentioned in Sims 2 chance cards, I’d imagine that it’s like a Cold War scenario where Sim Nation consists of the entire First World while Red Nation is the entire second world (also there are China and Egypt as seen in Sims 3 World Adventures).
Why am I thinking of this kind of stuff now?

I love the Rags to Riches challenge as well as the Off The Grid gameplay but it always didn't quite make sense when it came to food supply. I'm so excited to make my Sims really work for it!
How you can both buy fridge stock from a grocer or stock it yourself from your garden. Definitely ideal.
It'd be funny if the Back to the Old Days NAP was updated to forcing everyone to have the empty fridge feature.

Honestly they should add like 4 or 5 with this pack, so many amazing options they could go with.

I really hope they add this in a update because this is something that should've been in the base game tbh. But well... That's EA I guess. But still hyped for this pack it adds so much stuff that so many people have been waiting for.

No, it's referring to some animations like Harold or so. It would be false advertising if crocheting or animals weren't in the game.
They do that with every trailer thats nothing new. Usually some custom animations for the sake of make them interesting just like at the GF trailer. Pretty sure most had to do with Hardold the Llama.

Yeah, I wish they only used images which appear in-game in gameplay trailers and everything else. It shouldn't be that hard if you are proud of the product you're delivering. Anything else is simple false advertising unless they put a red circle around every single image which won't appear in-game.
Clearly neither of y'all have any clue what it's like to program. To you it's just 'rewrite the code, it's simple if they're proud of their work', meanwhile reality is it costs a lot of money to do that, takes a HUGE amount of time and resources (which also cost a LOT) and delays releasing while taking up time to fix bugs or real issues with sorting the fkng trailer for people like you.

Well, I think they make that warning in case there are kids (I higly suppose there are) who watch this trailer and think if the llama actually talks, etc. As there are warnings about not all the things in the ad are real in toy advertisement trailers, etc. Other than that, I think the gameplay elements are real. But it is just my thought. :D

This does feel like a GP... World + 2 interesting objects (cow/llama shed + chicken coop). Feels like a third of gameplay is missing, like having a horse range with an in-world track to ride/race horses. And like a tractor to tend a large field. That would have completed the farm theme for me.
And they're literally just rubbing it in with the fox alarm and music when we don't have burglars....
I never preordered any pack on the day that it was announced and I'M SO DAMN HAPPY I DID! Canning! Cross-Stitch! Cooking and gardening with the kids! Ponds! Cows! Lamas! Chickens! New cooking recipes! Farmer's Market! Farmer's Fair! This is lovely! I hope there's a farmer career and an aspiration to match!

You make it sound like a lot, but everything you mention is shallow and is not expanding the game at all. Again, it’s very world-focused.
Ponds, literally shallow
Animals, repetitive animations
Cross-stitch and canning, limited but cool new abilities.
New abilities and recipes are always welcome but not at that prize. So it’s better to obtain some free with CC.

@@pedro6720 your speaking the truth! I think everyone forgot that almost all the pack we gotten are mostly repetitive and are very shallow [don't forget VERY buggy]. I think its a good idea to just wait and see honest reviews on this pack before making a final decision [or just wait till is on sale]
