Nature and wildlife sounds from the African savanna - Night in Tsavo
소스 코드
- 게시일 2020. 10. 22.
- It's almost midnight in Tsavo East national Park, Kenya, East Africa. There's a soft wind blowing at Kanderi swamps, creating a subtle backdrop that mixes with insect chirps and distant bird calls. From time to time, the males in the resident lion pride call to advertise their territory.
Sit back and imagine you're sleeping in a tent in the middle of the swamp. The gentle insect chorus lulls you to sleep while the lion roars weave into your dreams.
Recorded with Sony PCM A10 and Lom mikroUsi microphones left out in a tree for 24 hours. Enjoying the videos I upload on here? Feel free to support me by:

It's sp quiet. No Planes, cars, humans. Just nature.
With knowledge of the Tsavo maneaters, hearing the lions brings different emotions than usual:)
That is very true, that sense of exposure makes these recordings more immersive and enveloping.
I'm going back for my fourth African safari and can't wait. Listening to this amazing recording with the lions and hippos makes me so excited to be back. Thank you.
Have fun!
I love your recordings, and so do the dog and cats. Everyone just relaxes right down.
Brilliant, happy to hear that.
Lovely reminder of how beautiful is Africa to someone who has served in Anti-Poaching unit deep in South Africas bush.
إنها موطني قارة أفريقيا الرائعة 😍🇱🇾✌
Very Nice! One hour overthere is like ten years in dirty, fat holland, my dear Vlad!
Happy to offer some solace from fat dirty Holland :D
I just discovered your channel and i am in love!! ive been playing all these sounds in the background and they help me distress and beat the winter blues, so thank you so much!
Glad you like them!
Helps me sleep at night! I wonder if there is an evolutionary reason for it- after all, we are all evolved to sleep with this exact background noise
Definitely, it’s what humans have listened to for most of our shared genetic history.
Very nice! Using it as background sound while watching other KRplus wild life videos!
Perfect, that's one way to enjoy wildlife videos with mediocre audio.
Feel good when listening to the sounds of insects and birds
Great, enjoy!
It sounds really real. I really like your channel
I think that might be because it *is* real.
It's *all* real, indeed. No looping, no mixing, no sound design. Only the real deal :)
@@GeorgeVlad its also knowledge of technology and having the finest of taste.
@@rudolfmariakorsten4141 thank you for the kind words.
@@GeorgeVlad your welcome. You worked hard. I wish worldleaders would just listen for one hour.

Brings too many memories
Good to hear that, enjoy!
That is great really enjoying,
It is indeed.

Absolutely the real deal!!! Well done My friend, well done!!! What program are you using for the spectrum view at the bottom?
Thank you! I used Aftter Effects for the animation at the top.
This is so helpfull when i'm in the bathroom 😌😌
Whatever works for you mate!
Love it. How wide are the two microphones?
About 25cm apart with a thick branch between them.
Those lions are super scary man
Yep, on one of my expeditions I was sleeping under a thatch roof with only a mosquito net between me and the savanna. Leopards roamed into camp every night. It was a very immersive experience :D
Distant scops owl calling
There may be a few. Where exactly can you hear it?
Ini sangat bagus.
They called them the Ghost and the Darkness.
Haha, fortunately they weren't around anymore when I was there.
Can someone tell which are the animals we can hear there? all lions? any others? (apart from birds and insects). Super interesting! Thanks!
Bats.
I hear a lion, some birds.
I'm curious aboutwhat's making that sound. 20:56
Difficult to tell, I will do some research and post back.
Can't hear the spotted Hyenas😊
Check out this one for some hyena action: krplus.net/bidio/la6unJ94dKSugIYsi=06mXQ1yomykC53Cw
ill never understand how europeans find sleeping in tents next to lions roaring their vocals away and other predators cozy. I dont know maybe its a source of fascination when you live a continent away from such animals but i just dont get it. I do love the sound of crickets chirping at night though
There's something fascinating and primal about being so close to wildlife that doesn't exist in many parts of the world anymore.
