Yeah that was bad, but understandable. You feel super awkward or embarrassed or panicked, so your brain starts yelling "RUN", and you just listen. It was a few years ago as you pointed out. No matter what age, when you look back on yourself years ago it's usually like "Wow, I was dumb. Why did I do that?" We're always learning, and clearly you're a different person. You're good :)

I've been on one date. It was incredibly awkward. My brother's friend offered to buy me pizza at this pizza place downtown that's way older than many other establishments here and I agreed, not knowing it was a date (I'm not attracted to guys). My cousin also decided to tag along, not trusting the guy who was buying me food. He was terribly bad at conversation, and though I'm nowhere near a talkative person, I found myself having to drive the conversation. My cousin was just subtly watching us from the corner of this tiny restaurant, and eventually, the guy starts to perverse something I'm saying about cinnabons. She looks up from her phone, wiggling her eyebrows and doing the human equivalent of the Lenny face. He wouldn't take the conversation away from cinnabons after that, and about a half hour later, I told him I wasn't interested in going on another date.

So, I'm autistic too, and I've never tried tinder seriously or anything. Like I made an account just to see how it works and what's up but I never went out with anyone on it.
I'm actually weirded out by things like that.
