My guinea pig I had ever since she was born to my another piggie, 7 years ago died three weeks ago, also very suddenly, without any signs of illness or problems from her age.. now we are just letting her piggy mom enjoy her last days as much as she can as well :/

The last bit was so amazing and emotional for me as I've been thinking about death and animals dying and grief and falling apart and even suicide at sometimes ilysm keep going ily I think you have saved me from..actions that would be to late to regret

I’m sorry for Cheeto, I know what it means to lose a pet that is really close to you, once I had a dog, his name was Rex, he died last summer, it was really hot so he just couldn’t hold it, he died. The worst is that I wasn’t even there for him, beacause I was in another town for the summer, and then a few weeks later, my grandma died, she had been suffering from cancer for months, I wasn’t there for her either. I hope they are in a better place.
I know it’s hard illysa, but you don’t have to worry, Cheeto will always be there for you even if you don’t see her.

But you are the first one whose stories brought tears to my eyes. Everything you've shared really means a lot, gave me hope when it seems like there was none, and warmed my heart when I need it the most. Thank you for living your life and giving us little stories with amazing animation

I was really confused about that.

I know this video is 3 years old and no one is gonna read this anyway but I relate so much to the situation with ur cat! My dog died when I was at a weekend trip with my friends and when my parents called me and told me they would go to the vet today my stomach literally turned cuz I couldn’t handle the thought of me not getting to say goodbye to him. Luckily my family and friends made it possible that I could travel back in time and see him one last time so imagining how you must have felt is horrible!

I lost my cat to kidney disease recently too. He seemed to be doing fine, we knew he was getting old and was slowing down, but seemed to have plenty of life left. Then one morning he just... gave up. Stopped eating, stopped moving, just laid on his stuffed doggy. No matter what we did to try and get. him relief, he was just done. he had decided he was done, and all we could do was stop the suffering. Hardest car ride of my life. At least he's not in pain anymore and he finally lived up to his name: Angel.
I'm sorry for your loss, it sucks. Sorry for a comment like this ona. 4 year old video, just brought up a lot of emotions.

You've got a good fella there, glad he was there for you. People who don't have pets can't possibly understand the connection. One of my cats is in kidney failure now & will be put down on Monday. It's sad for me, but he's in a bad way and I can't watch him suffer like this. He was a rescue and I figure he's had a better life with me than without me. So, I can certainly sympathize with anyone facing that kind of trauma.

I'm so sorry about Cheeto :( I just recently lost my cat, Inky on Christmas Eve, so I know how much it hurts. You'll never fully get over the sadness, but it'll get better, I promise 💕

I never even expected myself to be in Japan in the Winter, but here I am today. A snowy vacation there actually does seem like fun to me.

Dealing with the loss of a pet is really heartbreaking. A few months ago, my family had to put down my almost 19-year-old cat Annabelle the day after Valentine's Day. I lived my whole life with her and she was such a peaceful soul who brought my family so much joy for many years. Pets can really feel like a part of the family

I haven't finished the video yet... But I'm so sorry for your loss an how it happened my heart broke for you an I litterly started crying like a snowflake 😅🥺😭.. I had to put my cat down bc he got a rare blood clot that pretty much paralyzed him. The vet couldn't even comprehend how or why it happened... I raised him from a very small baby kitten. An I was in my third trimester of pregnancy it was so hard doing that an gli f through it... So I can't imagine having to go through what you did as well...
Ik it may not mean a lot of make things better. But you gave your fur baby the best life an a happy one. They are happy an healthy now an I'm sure will have an amazing after life bc of all the love you have an have for them... ❤️*Biggest hugs*❤️

I understand the feeling you have, it's (probably cus that was my feeling) a mix of saddness, anger, guilt and shame, all at once and that is very VERY overwhelming. But, i hope that cat heaven exists and cheeto watches you from above and is happy. Again, so so sorry for your loss

I honestly cried when I heard about the kitty because not so long ago: My cat that I’ve had since I was two was put down for a kidney failure which he was also suffering silently. We decided to get him treatment, he stayed in his bed all day in so much pain. The next Monday he got really bad and was sent to the vet to spend some days there, I didn’t say goodbye to him because I didn’t know they were sending him there cause I was in school. I was like ok, no no deal he will be fine. Fast forward Thursday I was with my two of my bffs on swimming training. We finished and the very next day I had a exam AND a very very important presentation. I got in my moms car ready to go home when my dad called.... He asked how I was doing, I didn’t knew what he was talking about so he asked if mom had already told me about Salem (that was his name because he was a gorgeous black cat with yellow eyes) I started getting tears in my eyes and asked what he was talking about, turns out my cat had been put down that morning. My mom got on the car (she was talking to another mom) and saw me pouring my eyes out. She immediately knew what was going on. She immediately said that she was sorry for not telling me because 1. I had a exam and a presentation the next day and she didn’t want to distract me and 2. My bffs were supposed to come with me to “Valle de bravo” to my house there to spend the halloween weekend together and she didn’t want me to be miserable on a event that I had been planing for months. Of course we all cried for a wile in the parking lot and finally went home. The next day was Thursday 31 of October 2019 ( because I’m from mexico my school there celebrated on the 1 of November on Friday, day of the death) and I still HAD to go to school because this presentation and exam were worth almost half of my final grade. My very best friend saw that I was very sad in the hallway and asked what happened. I told her we should rather talk in the bathroom. There I just couldn’t hold it I again started pouring my eyes out and told her what happened. She hugged me and told me it would be alright. We went to class and by the end of second period my friend had told all of our friend group what had happened. They all came rushing to hug me and most of the school noticed so suddenly all the classmates and teachers were comforting me. It was honestly very nice of them and not really overwhelming. The next day my friends came to Valle we had a blast and mourned my kitty cats death. This cat was my best friend I’ve had him since I was two and always dreamed to take him to college but in the end I think I can finally let go of him. Salem the black cat died on Wednesday October 30 2019 a day before halloween and two days before day of the death. I can really say he was a good cat and my bff. ( before I started writing this it was all bright and sunny and I’ve just noticed that now the sky is pouring water, it’s like Salem is telling me he is alright )

I’m so sorry, Illy. Losing a pet can be so devastating. It’s even worse when you can’t say bye for the last time, or you said bye for the last time, but not at the right time. Just know that we’re here for you, okay? Cheeto loved you, and he’s so happy now. At least they noticed it when they did. Again, I’m so, so sorry. We’re here for you. You can talk to us. I love you. When i was younger i was at the theater having the time of my life practicing for a play. When practice was over i was in my grandfathers car and he looked over to me and said, we had to put jack (my old cat) down today I felt powerless and quite frankly shook to my core. I was enjoying myself while my family had to make one of the hardest decisions of their lives and i couldn’t even say goodbye to him. I understand how you felt and i know how it feels to lose a pet that has been with you for most of your life.

My parents had to put my cat down during my honeymoon and I couldn't be there for it.
I cried about it for a few days ... she was my cat since I was 7 years old. I didn't know she was going through what she was going through and felt horrible for not being able to be there for her.

thank you for posting this. My cat passed yesterday and it helped me feel a bit better :)

I was vending at an important convention when I found out one of my best friends had died in an accident. I still sold that weekend, I still went to the water park, and watched anime with friends, but you know I also cried in that dealers room right there at my table and then in a moment in front of the staff. It means a lot to me to hear that you felt it and you felt it hard but it didn't ruin your trip. I somehow carried some guilt for that, but knew I shouldn't have. Thank you.
