In December 2019 the Chinese authorities notified the world that a virus was spreading through their communities. In the following months it spread to other countries, with cases doubling within days. This virus is the โSevere acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus 2โ, that causes the disease called COVID19, and that everyone simply calls Coronavirus.

We need an update on how the government created vaccines to make the dumb sick and have health issues, so glad I wasn't apart of the sheep who got the jab
Caught covid for the first time this month and as an immunocompromised person it was scary. Luckily I was able to get Paxlovid which is a medication given to those at a high risk of developing severe illness and makes it so covid canโt replicate inside your body. If it wasnโt for the medication I would have ended up in the hospital even though Iโm fully vaccinated. After being so sick even with medication and vaccines it makes everything I went through in the beginning of the pandemic worth it. I didnโt leave my house for months, only having contact with my immediate family, I suffered extreme depression and isolation, I missed my high school graduation, and I lost friends over them not taking things seriously. But had I caught covid before I was vaccinated, before medications were available, and while the healthcare system was at the brink of collapse I without a doubt would have died. Itโs good to know that everything I sacrificed saved me

I just got tested positive for it. My throat is sore, I have a runny nose, pressure in my lymph nodes and ears, a headache and fatigue. For me the flu was worse last time I had it. But Iโm also only on day 2 or 3. It started as headache, then a cough and now today I have the symptoms I described. This is not fun to have, get vaccinated if you can.
edit: after about 5 days Iโm finished with it. I still have an occasional cough, but nothing else.
Edit 2: My taste was also affected for about a week or two after. Things that would normally taste sweet tasted like metal. Salty foods tasted bitter. Savory foods seemed cold for some reason. Weird how it messes your taste up super bad.
Ive had it two times, First time it was just a cough, headache and nausea and light headeness. But the seconed time it was all those with also throwing up, and my body rejecting anything ieat.
I just got it from coworkers who were quarantined since last week ! And I only have a mild version and I hate how badly my throat is hurting . I just want to feel better :(

Ben P you do realize that this video is not just some normal raw video right? This video was made by experts and is carefully constructed. It takes a lot of time to make these types of videos considering they are informational vids. Maybe you should use your brain no matter how hard it is for you to understand simple concepts.
@@benp9793 I don't believe that they mean "hours" or "years" to make a video in the traditional sense of this expression. I would guess they are referring to the cumulative amount of time needed for completion - i.e. the sum of all hours that all people working on the video spend. They can still work in parallel - if two people each spend 5 hours on a clip, it will take 5 hours, but cumulatively they will have spent 10hrs.

Uploaded March 19, 2020. If there was one day I saw as an oh-shit moment, this was probably it. This was the day I took the bus over to the university campus, and found the libraries and classroom buildings closed. At that time, the bus service went to the weekend schedule through the whole week. Things were really gummed up for about the next four months.
TTTT I was one of the lucky ones (maybe, in part, one of the careful ones, I like to think). Got the shot and boosters when they appeared and were recommended, kept my distance from others, wore masks but TTTT only when mandated, and did more or less all right. Eventually, about three years from Oh Shit Day, a couple of days of feeling miserable, and a positive Covid test. Oddly, no respiratory sx, even though there had been a few times, in the year or two preceding, with various respiratory sx but Covid test showing negative.
The good news: We can mostly look forward toward the Future. The bad news: The Future is far from certain. Another pandemic could occur at any time, and godonlyknows how that might be handled.

Kurzgesagt oversimplify stuff but not to the degree the mainstream media does because if the mainstream media simplified it that much their viewers wouldn't understand what they're talking about. Also Kurzgesagt isn't pushing an agenda what's takes 90% of the content out of the video so we end up with an 8 minute video that has great animation and actually informs people.

Iโd say the fast vs slow pandemic depended on where you were. In some states, itโs the lockdowns that will be more remembered while the course of infection itself was high, was not devastating.
In other states, it was treated less seriously and entire families were wiped out.

Sweden is now reporting a huge drop in infections despite not locking down at all and apear to have achieved at least the beginning of herd immunity.
We do now the avg age of C-19 death in the U.S is 80 and that's with the skewed data.
So from an academic standpoint, we know sweet f*ckall about the actual infection/death rate but have slaughtered the global economy.

Currently I have covid and fairly.. probably since a long term because since january I've been with a bad cold but were still able to do my lifestyle of work and school. My doctor refused to treat me after going to him several times, telling him about my bad coughing and how its gotten worse the past week. Only today, after my parents called me and my dad gotten a high fever, we both have covid. My symptoms are weird, they're just like the common flu. I feel great and can still do everything I usually do - I wouldn't have noticed it if my dad wouldn't have gotten the fever..
I just re-watched the video to make sure what could happen and what could not happen.

As an actual cashier at a large grocery store for whom โworking from homeโ is not an option - yes, please stay at home as much as you can. THE Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority has approved a contract for three new US$35 million neopanamax electric dockside cranes for the Bayport Container Terminal's Wharf 5.

Why's there such a strong emphasis on manual hygiene to battle the spread of an airborne virus? Would it not make sense to rather look at ways to keep airborne particles down in order to reduce exposure to this highly infectious disease?
In case this was not yet known at the time the video was created, I would be keen to see an updated video that evaluates the current situation based on current knowledge.
