There was a custom holiday/event called Neighbourhood Brawl. Sims started to radomly beat each other for fun, so I ran out and beat up someone. Then two sims knocked on my door, let them in, and beat me.
This was the most fun I had with Sims in a long time.

I don't know... they sure paid attention to call me Kevin's. Literally a couple days after he released his review of this, they patched freezing to death after swimming. He wiped out at least 20 sims the first time he played with this pack

now all that’s left is sims 4 university. but i hope they expand it even more. adding in the option to go to elementary or high school with your sims. have a interactive career as a teacher/professor.

I tried to get it on with the scarecrow... didn't have the option. So then I used wicked whims and shit got... weird. You don't wanna see whats under that scarecrow suit 😂

What's in my opinion unforgivable is the complete lack of aspirations and traits in the Sims 4.

And it's more worst considering that some of them aren't even a trait. The sims 2 did better job in differentiate what are to be traits (personality) and what are sims interests. For example 'love outdoor' should fall on interest category in sims 2 (positive attitude toward 'environtment' topics), instead trait as we got in sims 4. And yes trait should be specific, but not 'shallow', I mean they should keep the interest system coexist with trait, where certain trait could determine tendencies to some interests, how its dynamic (positive or negative, and its consistency).
But that just my oppinion.
And careers. Like what if I want my sims to be a teacher or electrician instead of an astronaut or a secret agent
And also lack of freedom for building and regulating cities and restriction of choices.
And I personally detest restricted map that even doesn't work in real time as you can't move your every sim to everywhere and watch them simultaneously.
TS3 is superb despite lack of optimization and some smooth animation
For me it's the fact that basically this game was made to be a mobile game, and they just slapped on this version for PC.

Yeah we didn't even get cellphones until Sims 2. They did include "fall tv premieres" as one of the events but who still waits and watches individual episodes on tv when you can binge watch the entire seasons of shows on your devices? I'd love to see my sims glued to the couch and all their moods bright red but they still have six more episodes to watch.

This pack looks amazing, but I'm still disappointed it didn't include a new town.
I love this, I was so 'in the dark' on what I could do. As a survivor of 2 traumatic brain injuries (2 strokes) that left me with some brain damage, I was having trouble absorbing all of this. My brain= "Too much!" This helped me sooo much. I have seasons, (it came out one day before my 56th birthday, so a friend bought it for me.) Haven't played much, because I was overwhelmed. Thank you so much for this!! I truly appreciate it! Again TYTY!!

the best part about his The Sims series review is that he's unbiased and no BS to what every single thing he said, he speaks whats on his mind
There's a lot to do in this game and I love. Winter is always a favorite. Couple of things I've been finding out as I'm still playing.
-Sims can sabotage the tree and decorating bin box.
-Sims can get a angry moodlet from messing up on decorating the tree.
-Good sims can't/won't sneak or peek at presents
-Sims can check the mailbox to see if they received a gift for Winterfest (Can get them from other sims and family)
-Sims can also sabotage other sims on love day
-The cold buff can disappear briefly when sims drink warm drinks
-Sims can get a dazed moodlet from a grand meal from eating so much
-Winterfest tree has a chance of combusting into flames when lighting the tree
-Children and childish sims can talk to snowpals
-Sometimes gifts go unappreciated and a sims get a sad moodlet
-Sims gain more weight faster eating grand meals (be careful)
-With the snow piles they can actually block your sim in their home if they're not taken care of.
-You can order gifts online
-Fireplaces will heat one room in the home
-Townie sims will walk around in festive hats and outfits sometimes for Winterfest
April May Yep. I’ve experienced three of these. And the Christmas tree one is rare? Lol I just bought the expansion pack and I started it on Christmas. So my sim gets up early to light the Christmas tree and it just bursts into flames. A truly great start to Christmas. I never did the tree again lol

I didn't know I wanted to hear a Simlish version of Auld Lang Syne, but I'm glad I did.
I really like this pack. It would be the first EP that i actually like. I had no idea there was wind in the game so when the wind started howling and the trees began swaying I was SHOOK. The atmosphere is amazing, it was the one thing i was worried they would mess up because it is SO important.
Seasons has also been my favorite, varying weather and different seasons just add so much to the game.
I didn't know there was wind either. When I first saw it I was so surprised! Even the flowers sway in the wind!

My sims games have never stayed untouched for as long periods at a time since sims 4 came out. At first when I saw the season expansion pack I was finally excited, but after looking at your rewiew and others of the expansion I was disappointed. I realised sims 4 was never gone give me the depth I wanted in my gameplay. Yes it runs.. ok.. and the cas is fun, but that's about it.
I went back and looked at all your sims rewiews starting at sims 4 and then back at sims 3, it suprised me; since I haven't played sims 3 in 2 years, of how much stuff the sims 3 came with and the freedom it provided. I downloaded it and started playing yesterday and I got completely lost in my gameplay, I played for 9 hours *ops* without being close to bored. And yes I have to run in super bad quality so it can run without problems but honestly.. *i don't care..* as soon as I got in to the world, it was nostalgic and fun! And I didn't do to much either! But honestly to being able to walk anywhere, be a stylist and make the whole town wear leopard print in all different colours and traveling and exploring. It was amazing.
I've watched your rewiews for collective of 9 years now and I still love your rewiews of the sims 4, but I realised that i'm not gonna spend another coin on it myself. Sims 4 gets me bored after 20 minutes of gameplay. Your rewiews are comedy gold and i I mean not only the sims rewiews, and it was fun to binge watch all the old rewiews as well, you've grown as a creator and reviewer! Thanks for entertaining us!
And if you go back and look at the ambition expansion pack(ts3) vs any expansion pack from the sims 4, it provides more fun and gameplay and diversity of gameplay than any of the ts4 packs do collected.

I relate to it, the sims 3 was shockingly diverse which made it SO good and full of surprises, now you know the game in and out and only waiting for the next expansion to fill whats missing

I honestly don't understand how you can enjoy Sims 3 after the stability brought on in Sims 4, or the more animated sims themselves. Sure it's not perfect and has its fair share of bugs (can we fix Vampires pls), but if given a choice which to play, 4 gets my vote. I just remember how choppy Sims 3 became for me towards the end, virtually unplayable, and was so happy when they introduced smaller contained neighbourhoods in 4.
It’s an improvement but I stil wish the game was open world. I loved it in TS3 when your sim would go to work or a party and they’d have be effected by the weather. Walking a few feet outside of their house and then a loading screen just isn’t the same 😢

The fact that a simulation game doesn't come with a built in weather system and you have to buy it later seems a bit crazy to me. Even in previous games.

Yeah, at least they should give us a weather system in base game, such as rain. And still could make season as DLC that expand the dynamic from previous weather system including special event, stuff, npc, even world.

Well, I think EA only gives free, early versions to people who are apart of their program, Game Changers.
They did give him a review copy of one of the games a few releases a go, but as always he was honest in picking out the flaws. Probably why they didn't send him any more, they don't like the fact that he doesn't sugar coat their games and help them sell copies if the games they're producing aren't up to scratch.
They did offer him a contract. He didn't say what was in it, but he turned them down. I'm guessing there was a clause or two in there forbidding him to piss on the tripe they're palming off onto people.
Who saw the final venue they released for S3 - The Last Venue of Amor? Take a look at LS' revue of that one, then watch LGR's and compare. You can clearly hear LS struggling to give us reasons why we should buy it; "Oh, the water looks so amazing." (It looks like a blue path!) LGR just comes right out and tells you what pile of shit it is.
Stick with LGR's revues if you want to know what you're really getting.

MEH. TS2 and TS3 Seasons are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better in almost every single way.
This pack has made the game felt so much closer to having the “complete” and “wow I didn’t realize I’ve been playing for 5 hours” feel to it that the sims 3 did. I don’t see myself quickly getting bored or exhausting all the new gameplay features. Very happy with this one!
Though I agree this is probably the best pack out for TS4, I'm disappointed with some features that are cut out. Sunburn, despite being an inconvenience, was funny. The fake tan stations were also funny when your sim came out half sprayed. Another feature I don't see is the large festival events at the park in your world. These are very fun for me and I think it's a major part of the Seasons experience. On a positive note, I must say that the rain looks beautiful. Great review as always.

So far, Seasons looks to be the most interesting, complete and well put together expansion pack of the Sims 4 imo. I'm considering buying this one, maybe around Thanksgiving or Black Friday if it goes on sale like I did with the base game (I refuse to pay full price for a Sims 4 game).

I know, this is hard to make, I really love the game and they work really hard, but they say they want to make it more realistic... but really?
Where did they say that? The sims games have been nothing close to realistic. You can play to your liking how you like, but among things like male pregnancies due to aliens, living gnomes, vampires, ghosts and the grim reaper lol that's no where close to being real. It is a simulation yes, but nothing but close imitation.
Tanning would come in a beach related pack I never even figured it'd be in this pack anyway considering no beaches yet.
Not sure how cars would work in game other than functioning like the Sims 2 but a majority of lots don't have any roads close to the lots so it really wouldn't work other than your sim POOFING away.
April May in the sims 4 cats and dogs expansion. "Oh you can't play as your pets because we want it to be realistic!" But as you said stuff like pregnancy due to aliens..

There were a lot of roads in world's too in S3. Dunno why they didn't want to animate it just pulling out. If cars were introduced in the game, some lots that don't have roads you would definitely have to POOF away.

I sincerely hope sims 5 comes out in 2019 or early 2020 with the open world, a nice pallet swatch and the full 5 trait system. I think some of the expansions in sims 4 are some of the best to date but the base game just drags the rest of the experience down.

I would hate the fact that you have to re-purchase similar content for every Sims game instead of just including old features in new games.
To include that much content in a fresh made from the ground up game, would take about as long, so take all the dev to get it as it was, minus maybe 6 months for marketing and release. And Boom. a sims game 6 years in development hell.
They should just rework the engine, not make it from scratch all the time. A sequel is supposed to make what made the previous game good better afterall.
I just boot up Sims 2. All the seasons i want for over 11 years now!
That's... omg.. not how engines work, that's not how of any of that works.
not to mention Engines are more often licensed out rather then made & are incompatible with each other, though there are Studios who make there own to fit more niche games.
Capcom's REngine, or Konami's Fox Engine are good examples.
No amount of Reworking is going Make unreal Engine 3 Look, preform and do what Unreal Engine 4 does.
Please, look into game development before you start making bold unknowing claims, and assuming things. if you want games to evolve, You need to use new engines every generation.

He makes videos every Monday and Friday. Seasons came out on a Friday, he didn’t have time to play seasons immediately and then immediately make a video. The footage is from over the weekend.

It appears to me that EA/The Sims Studio are really ramping up their development efforts: If you look at the "old" packs, they mostly we refined and concentrated packs featuring only a handful of features, but this pack includes a ton of stuff! More items than ever before, more actions, UI updates, they even updated a core career! Please, EA/The Sims Studio, let this be the beginning of a Sims 4 renaissance! Make the Sims 4 it should have ever been!

I watch the reviews to learn more about packs I already have, but I'm cracking up after watching you review Vampires and Realm of Magic and talk about how you like more realistic Sim play and seeing this household with a Ghost, a giant Gnome, a Scarecrow and a woman pregnant with Father Christmas' babies.

As much as I love the Sims and have been a day one supporter, I can't bring myself to buy this pack. We have begged for Seasons (and other things) and now that it is here and after all of all the money I have spent on expansion packs, game packs, and packs of things that should have been given as a courtesy; Maxis has just let me down way too much with Sims 4. Sims 3 Seasons was my favorite pack!

If you get the sim limit remover and longer parties mods, you can have loads of sims come round and celebrate new years in your home.....it's quite nice. As in real life it's often down the social club or the pub.

I actually did get snow in Oasis Springs! It's not a blizzard or anything, but the town does get snow.
Yeah, the grounds is kinda froze (?) *idk how to explain it. English isn't my first language, sorry!* but the land and the atmosphere didn't turn into pure white like other worlds in Oasis Springs.
So far I only got through spring and summer with my sim living in oasis springs and traveling occasionally to other towns. It didn't even rain one time in oasis springs for me! But it poured every time I travelled to windenberg.

Юлия Элизабет no I know but I was stating that for comparison purposes between the 2 worlds. I know oasis springs is the desert but I had my settings for 3 weeks and it didn't rain once. I thought something was wrong with my game but then it rained in other worlds.
