Mark, you're such a huge inspiration to me. Not only as an engineer/maker, but as a person. Each one of your videos gives me such uplifting positive vibes. If/when I have kids in the future, I want to be at least half as awesome as you are.

This may just be the single greatest video on the internet. It's so pure and wonderful, I come back and watch it all the time. The joy of the children discovering new things, a nice lesson, the family vibe, and some amazing chill music.

Those kids are having the best time of their lives
This took me back! I took my kids to visit my family in Wales, and in Cardiff there's a fabulous science and technology fun place called Techniquest. My kids loved it so much that whenever I took them home, we had to go. When my youngest was about 2-3 she organised all the strangers in the shadow room, telling them where to stand and how the had to jump. She was so funny that everyone joined in, laughing their socks off!
As an aside, she's now a grown up, and has gone to live in that city to work after going to uni in a neighbouring city. She lives pretty close to where Techniquest is/was. I'm going to _have_ to find out! Seeing her soon :D

A teacher doesn't matter. An awesome teacher does. I loved that statement. You would be an awesome teacher! When you said that line in one of the videos I watched I totally agreed. I guess that's why I love science, most all of my science teachers were amazing people and I learned so much from them because they made it a fun experince.
