TacticalMoonstone 21:9 and 2:1 screens look pretty damn good in my opinion
me too
I had a G5 for years and it's a surprisingly good phone. Not only one of the last decently-specced phones with both a headphone jack and a removable battery, but the fact the battery is so easy to remove and can even be charged outside of the phone is outstanding. The screen is great for the time and had LG built upon it and created an ecosystem of multiple phones with interchangeable (and useful) modules, perhaps the gimmick might've worked.
My only gripes would be the large resolution with such a small battery and the weird form factor of the phone itself, which made finding cases and other accessories for it a nightmare, especially after a few years.
But I do miss smaller flagships with removable batteries.
I had an lg g3 for nine years and Δ± still use it :)
i bought the LG G5 because it was the only seemingly reasonable smartphone that i kud find with a user-replaceable battery. a user-replaceable battery is my top priority in a smart phone. sadly the phone had so many bugs that i didn't buy multiple ones and when the screen failed from cracking when dropping, i'm just not interested in fixing it. too many software bugs. π’ But i absolutely loved the removable battery. sadly i've had a few times that it just spontaneously turned off on me. i assume because the battery supply was disconnected unintentionally, but it didn't happen too much to be horrid. overall, i loved it with one dooming problem: software bugs. π’
I can see the P18k being useful for people who go on arctic expeditions or something like that. It couldβve been sold very well if they made it for that purpose or something similar with other optimisations for that sort of thing but as a normal smartphone itβs only going to fail realistically.
Expeditions doesn't have wifi and celular signal. Useless
@@oyapon no, but it could be used for other things like taking notes or photos. There are situations where it could be used.
Until the oversized battery starts exploding and blowing people's cars upπ€£
Imagine adding backtracking satellite sos and a couple of things moreβ¦.. then i can assure you it wouldβve been a great deal but sadly they didnβt used their cards right
We have powerbanks, just buy as many of them as you want, I don't get the point of having a brick sized phone only for the purpose of battery. And for those people who want bigger battery. There is a niche category of rugged phone which are twice the width of normal phone.

For #1, I have heard a lot of people saying they didnβt care about phones being super-thin and would sacrifice some thickness for better battery (though thatβs just anecdotal), and that video about why phones no longer have replaceable batteries, and I think the problem is just that they went overboard with it. If they just made a *slightly* thicker battery that could go for a few days without charging even after some wear and tear, that probably could have worked.

I'm not. Moved on to USB type C headphones (on android phones), never came back. No bluetooth or batteries needed. Yeah yeah i can't charge while i listen, but that just means I take care not to let the battery run out while using headphones out and about, before I get home and can charge the phone. If you REALLY want to do both at once often enough, there's dongles out there that enable you to plug in both a charger and usb C headphones to the same USB c port.
@@TrigramThunder not for people who want music overnight.. nah, sticking with phones that have headphone jacks.
That's why I like Lg aren't overpriced, and not only has headphone jack, but also has a quad DAC
β@@TrigramThunder Removing a feature, only to offer an adapter to get that feature back, defeats the point. It just adds more plastic waste when those adapters eventually break, and need replacement.
Also, many headphones still use audio jacks as their main output, because unless there's a significant improvement between it and USB type C, which I doubt [can't say for sure though], there is no reason to transition.

@@adnanabdullah361 yesterday me and my mom went to woolworths for some groceries and out of curiousity wanted to see the toilet paper aisle because that its looks strange when the shelves are empty. anyways, a man was coming to restock some toilet paper and a whole crowd of people saw the toilet paper and went straight for it and didnt even let the man put it somewhere properly basically a kid got knocked over in the crowd and het their head really hard, me and my mum left at that point so we wouldn't be included in that giant mess.
This mans voice is SOOTHING. If he told me anything (it could be fake) I would believe it. π€§
If he was raging at you (or trying to rage), it would be more funny than anything.
imagine him being mad and swearing at you in his normal voice
o I think his response would be very constructed and badass! Like I would be enlightened because of his response.
I still have a Galaxy S10 specifically because of the Bixby button. I remapped it so that if I double press it it plays/pauses music and if I hold it it toggles the flashlight. I also remapped my volume buttons to where when I hold them they go to the next/previous song. And if I double press and hold the volume buttons it switches between sound/vibrate/silent. Custom media control buttons and a headphone jack are the reasons I'll use this phone till it breaks
I have had the Razor v3 and the blackberry and the Nokia back when I was very young what epic phones they were

Currently watching this from my essential ph1 and have not regretted my decision in 2017 of preordering it. It's been my favorite phone since, of course since it is a 2017 phone, running graphic intensive apps like PUBG is out of the question hence why I bought an iPhone on the side to also have a good camera. Though, this phone is the best daily phone you can have, it's still snappy and appearance can not be bested by anything in the market with it's zero brand mirror like ceramic backing
I had the htc one and the m8 both were great. Following that the essential phone, loved that and now have a TCL 10 pro which has been good, quite powerful for its price point. Was looking forward to the 30pro to replace it but appears it has been canceled.
Who else is glad that your phone isn't here
Me
My phone is here though....
Actualy.... two of my phones.... and let me just say... the Amazon fire needs to burn for eternity.
