Brian did such a good job. Most of the actors were just playing exaggerated versions of themselves, but Brian, who is a very clever and funny guy, truly created a character.
I agree he did great in his role. But his role eventually strictly became the dumb fat one, and anything he said or did was based on his fatness and dumbness, the writers really squeezed him down to one dimension sadly.

They all are like that

I think that most people feel the "It's just nice to win one." scene so much because many of us have been there. At that point where it feels like rock bottom, and you're struggling every day just to function on a regular basis. Your mind is so clouded by the trauma that you can't see or fathom a day where you'll be "okay" at minimum. Then that day happens....SOMETHING, it didn't even have to be big, just a nice win that puts a smile on your face.
I had actually on the downside of a major issue in my life when this episode aired. I had just had that win, so I knew exactly what he meant. This show helped me through a lot.
