Just so you know: Yes. This was released a month ago, without the developers permission and without patches.
Isnt that wrong? The devs just didnt know. It was up to the publisher.
@@TheNintendoWizrad Yeah, but the publisher didn't even let them know. Hence why the patches aren't even in the game yet. The moment the publisher received the ported game from the porting company, they just pushed it on the Eshop.
@@MaJuV seems like an error on both parts. Either the dev wasnt communicating the changes, or the publisher just didnt keep open lines of communication.

@@TheNintendoWizrad it was actually, according to the official statements, a clerical mistake that was not on purpose at all. The publishers had had an agreed release in late April, and they had the correct ship build for the shop, and they put that into the interface and entered the April launch date. After this was put in place, the publishers and developers worked out that they wanted to launch in early to mid May so that they could have a Day 1 patch ready, but then the eShop backend that I referred to before didn't wind up getting there correct updated launch date committed to it. So, as far as I know, neither 505 nor Lab Zero nor Nintendo thought that it was going to push forward into the eShop when it did, because it was an error in their automation that didn't correspond with the agreement that they'd all most recently discussed in internal communications. Maybe somebody didn't use the interface right, maybe the interface failed, who knows. I just wanted to clarify that the official story puts the blame on no party in particular.

Yeah the publisher, 505 games, posted a statement saying they meant to delay the switch release until may. By mistake, this delay didnt apply to the digital release so thats why its been out for a while to both parties surprise.

The first time I saw this game I had no interest and believed it to be bizarre. Now after a couple of months of playing RPGs like Persona and Golden Sun, I see that I was gravely mistaken.

The animation of the characters is beautiful
The animation in this game is absolutely terrific and smooth af.

I know they're late on announcing this but still this is great for all Switch players. As someone who played the game already, I recommend you guys and gals give this game a try. It's a really nice game to play, with a good mix of fun and challenges and a nice story. So to all Switch player that are curious about getting this game, please do.

I remember this game having a demo like five years ago or so, and then nobody talked about it at all. Kind of upsetting, because the game didn't look bad. I honestly forgot it even had RPG stuff in it.

I don't think is similar to Celeste. That game focuses a lot on platforming, with mechanics around it. This game focuses more on turn based tactics and RPG, platforming is just a part to move forward in the game.
