Hey Saf I have some tips for you when you apply the mask so you feel the current more. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and use an electrical stimulation device for people who have weakened muscles in their face from having strokes and other brain injuries. Basically it’s a similar idea where I put electrodes on specific parts of the person’s face and neck and it sends an electric current to those areas which helps stimulate muscle movement. I suspect the idea behind that mask is similar. So when ever you are placing electrodes on the skin for electric stimulation any hair such as facial hair or side burns will interrupt the current so that it’s not able to stimulate the muscles. I noticed the electrodes were basically stuck to your side burns, I would suggest trying to get all that hair out of the way maybe hair spray or gel it back or put the electrodes closer in to your face. You will most likely feel a much stronger current with the electrodes sitting on just your skin. I hope that helps I have never used the face mask you tried but when I watched the video it reminded me a little of the electric stimulation device I use to rehabilitate people’s facial and neck muscles. I really enjoy watching your videos!

I think they're using Acute TENS, initially used for analgesia, on your face. Tingling sensations from the adhesive electrodes are felt by patients to take their minds off the pain. I guess they used a lower frequency to stimulate a relaxation effect. The real thing is used with a much higher frequency on the face on people with Bell's Palsy or Stroke and you should see how it makes your facial muscles jump individually, it's so cool. I'm still bitter by the fact that I got a low score on my return demonstration on this and now it has returned to mock me. 😆

I have a feeling that the layer of hair between the electrodes probably cut off the electric current because I noticed one goes to the top half and the other goes to the bottom and they don’t Connect so I think they would use the body to complete he Circuit but the hair would be a insulator so it probably Did not use like it was supposed to

That's not how you exactly want to use a multimeter. You had it in the "current" setting, so when you touched the leads to the two separate wires you actually caused a short circuit between them. You would have better luck putting the tool into the "voltage" setting, which would tell you if there was charge building up on either of the electrodes and would not create a short circuit like the "current" setting.
Also, I think doing another test where you follow the instructions of this product but then skip the step where you plug in the electrodes could let you compare "powered" electrode results with "unpowered" electrode results and see if the electrodes make an actual difference in the outcome.

You should totally plug the mask into a normal tens unit, Safiya!! Those electrodes are, actually, tens unit pads. The mask is probably covered in a similar semi-conductive material just like the pads are, but the output from your phone isn't NEARLY high enough for you to actually feel. If you wanna feel it, plug it into a tens, and go from there lol.
They have all the interactive features you could ask for, AND you'll get a higher buzz. Just.... test it someplace else first.
