Chris's story is so sad and relatable. The anxiety of going to the hospital because of getting bankrupted in the process. I had a stomach infection in college out of state, and felt like I was going to pass out but dragged myself to the nearest hospital on my own, because just getting a single ambulance ride can cost almost half your yearly income, it's obscene.
And then I still had a $3,000 bill after spending maybe a few hours in the ER. I was a college student on a college budget, so I obviously couldn't afford it, neither could my family. I paid such a minimum monthly payment on the bill that by the time I graduated they just wiped the rest of the bill out. I did get lucky there, but health emergencies draining our bank accounts should not be a thing in America. Period.

Chris explaining his hospital experience reminded me of an ER visit I had because of an allergic reaction. The lady literally started trying to screen me for COVID and my dads almost yelled “she’s in anaphylactic shock!” She’s over here trying to ask me questions and I LITERALLY couldn’t breathe😂. Anyways, hope you’re doing better now Chris!

As I continue to watch this, I can’t help but get more and more concerned for Chris. Poor thing looks so pale and sick. And you can tell he’s trying his hardest to be normal. Sending you healing and peaceful vibes love. Please update us when you can! Love you all

in reference to the first voicemail, i once had a boss who said to me: “every time i see your face, i want to kick your teeth in.” i went to our backroom and sobbed, then she came in and yelled at me for crying on the clock. the next day she opened and i was supposed to close, but i no-call no-showed and left all her texts on read. she wasn’t able to get another closer and ended up having to work a 13 hour shift. i never showed up again and i have absolutely zero regrets.

I hope everything continues to get better for you, Chris. I'm not a physician, but I am wondering if you passed out and seized from a high temperature. If you had an infection in your body and were in a hot bath, if could've made your temperature get dangerously high. Keep an eye on your heart rate and temperature while you're recovering since you aren't feeling 100% yet. Thinking of you and hoping for your FAST recovery!

I have an explanation for the "pink void" conspiracy, the reason most of their merch is like that is because the "Disney Princess" is a whole franchise that includes MOST but not all of their princesses, the comparisone with the other disney and pixar color books that had each character or set of characters in their own circle shows how each of those movies is considered a different francise and they separate them more, but the princesses are usually seen as one unit, but because they are still from different movies and universes, they do not interact with each other in the big mayority of the merch. Another fun fact about it: Elsa and Anna are NOT part of the Disney Princess franchise because Frozen itself is so big and makes so much money for them that they made Frozen it's own franchise, so you'll almost never see those 2 cross with the rest of the princesses in any "Disney Princess" merch, but there are a few exceptions.

If he's continuing to feel funky, I highly recommend keeping a diary of symptoms or any further episodes he experiences. I've lived with regular non-epileptic fainting/seizure episodes since I was about 14 and having a track record to show a specialist was a massive help towards finally getting all appropriate tests done for a formal diagnosis, which has led to finally getting treated this year (I'm 27 this month). Waiting over a decade to resolve such an issue was a ball-ache to say the least, so I hope if it doesn't resolve itself, he's able to get to the bottom of it soon 🙏

Oh gosh. Poor Chris. I hope you get better Chris!! Infections can do craaazy things. You'd be surprised how serious they can be and what kinds of side effects they can have.

Just a suggestion on the stomach issues. Have them do a colonoscopy. Sounds like Diverticulitis, which I almost died of at 25. The exact same thing happened to me, and they thought Appendicitis at first too. Good luck! Hope you get some answers. Scary stuff.

I’m so glad Chris shared his story!
A couple of years ago I was diagnosed with PNES
(Psychogenic Non Epileptic Siezures) caused by being stressed out or having a severe panic attack, and most of the time I’ll black out and wake up to seizing a couple more times until I stop breathing.
It’s very scary and
can be a very stressful situation to be in, and I’m glad he had someone there for him at that moment.
