Had a day to film the music video and record vocals and I feel like I can do better with this song. Let's try again in april.

its april now, for context I only gave myself a day to film the music video while at the same time record the song itself and all the instruments. It was incredibly stressful because 1. I thought I had more days to do everything when booking the room to record in, 2. I was performing in front of a group of people a very personal song causing me to be incredibly nervous, and 3. my voice was destroyed trying to record everything in one day from the singing to the rapping... never do that your voice will die if not trained properly (i am still training). All in all I set myself up for failure and was disappointed with the end result but still felt as if I needed to post something because I had kept the fans waiting for way too long. I've learned from my mistakes... never rush shit. I didn't want to be disappointed in this song because I knew it could be so much better... I knew I could DO so much better... So I did. I discovered this song soon after it was uploaded. Exactly two years ago, on this day, on this evening (as of writing).
I remember being stressed by studies and writing and exhausted after playing Minecraft for a few hours. (I don't play games anymore). I remember entering my room, going on youtube and seeing this video sitting on my reccomendation. The colourful thumbnail attracted me. I pressed play, and just laid down on my bed and closed my eyes.
What came next, was enchanting and stress left me.
I don't know why so many people consider this song inferior to the newer version. Despite this being rushed, I find this much better than the second take.
