    Today I start the engine swap I've been dreading for months, by taking out the massive 6.0 W12 from my cheap, $11,000 Bentley Continental GT. I hope you like montages. Thanks to Ferrparts for coming through with a great low mileage engine!

      The vw immo3 is a easy defeat on normal vw & audi
      But the immobilizer 3 in the Phaeton/audi A8, (Touareg Q7/Cheyanne). Are different cause the system is split three ways..J519 body control module, steering column lock, ECM.
      This was the predecessor of the immo4 which is currently being used for all models 2005.5 and up

    • @rcairforceone
      @rcairforceone 5 년 전 +2

      It is lol. I track removed hardware normally by putting the fastener back in place after the component is removed, or using a piece of cardboard as a template. I've also used paint pens/sticks to color code positions, angles, etc. Those are also good for harnesses, if you're removing one.

      I was just thinking this. With all the projects hes got going on at once and then to tackle this major task hes got to do some serious storage and organization to keep everything straight. You dont want to accidentally put anything in the wrong place or lose something on these supercar projects, it's not like building an IKEA bookshelf where you expect to have a few extra parts afterwards!
