My background is primarily the Toyota Supra and Nissan GTR. Maybe at some point we can figure out a more formal "Who is this Jared guy.." episode. You'll see me even more regularly on the Wrench Every Day channel as we are filming content to get ready to drop at the start of the new year.

As a rotary owner:
careful with that throttle! Rotaries do not like revving cold, you can seriously damage it. Oil pressure and temperature are extremely important, and make sure you have an Oil Metering Pump and/or lots of 2 stroke.
And I'm no expert on 3 rotors, but those spark plugs sure don't look like rotary plugs......

LMAO! I thought Tavarish was going to have a heart attack when Jared started spinning that 20B up! Really, considering what was in the chambers, revving a bit was probably the best thing for it, to get the sticky apex seals freed up. I think I saw quite a few bats, bird nests, and fish heads exiting the exhaust on those last couple throttle blips.🤣 I love weird projects and I think that 20B with the turbo will be a fantastic addition to that burned out Ferrari! Looking forward to the build.😉👍

the increase in rpm when cold is more likely to try and get the cats hot for emissions
im having trouble trying to imagine which seals would "stick"

Now that you know it runs, order the engine rebuild kit, and rebuild it when you pull it out. Whole motor can be torn apart, cleaned, rebuilt and painted in less than 5 hours(but because you'll be recording, it'll probably take longer) on a 4' x 6' table. There goes 3 videos for you right there. You're welcome. Hopefully you do that cuz I'd sit and watch all 3 videos too.

Can’t say a bad word about the guys of bad obsessions motorsport. The binky build is the ultimate car build video series, also the longest. The detail of documenting how every little bracket is made. Designing & Crafting everything themselves. And the English humour. Their only problem will be how to improve on perfect. This build is a dream build. like diy gang Phoenix build. Great guy (btw) He also did the ultimate build as a first build in record speed. Those guys rule all for me.

Rotaries NEED revs. That rev that Jarred did was the best thing he could have done.
But only after they have warmed up first don't rev a rotary right away

I think you should piss off the purists even more. Graft the SL-C read end on to the Ferrari. It's all set up and will solve the length issue with a bomb suspension.
