@@stryd6761Nope, still TXT. If I'm not mistaken, SKZ is to headline Lollapalooza Paris like an offshoot music festival for other cities. However, the original or main is this one in Chicago that's why they just call it "LOLLAPALOOZA". SKZ's headlining Lollapalooza Paris has been announced in January while TXT's headlining Lollapalooza was announced in March and has been circulated in global media news to be the first kpop group to do so.

Exactly, I'm a huge alt rock fan from the 90s and TXT music really satisfies my need for that genre and also my appreciation for how hard working k-pop talent really is. I just love all of TXT music so far, very rock like! I cannot get over the Loser - Lover song, it is amazing.

TXT have raised the standard with this live performance. Their stable vocals, energetic choreography combined with the band was really amazing. Their discography is what drew me in initially and this Lolla performance is definitely proving how talented these boys are. They deserve every bit of success and so much more.
i do agree with everything but I do think that the vocals weren't live... i love them, they slayed and i know they can sing but i do think it's prerecorded (like, even when they jump and stuff it's all perfect...), this makes me a bit sad cause again i love their voices and I would have loved to see them live but I don't think this is the case. Well, this unfortunately nearly always happen in kpop cause they want perfect vocal performances while it's impossible while jumping around with this energy. Again, it's no hate and if someone can prove me i'm wrong i would be happy ahah. Love them anyway and they did so great
@@felixfelicis7902 1. You can clearly tell they are singing live coz Yeonjun and taehyun both shouted "Go" and "What's up lollapalooza" in the middle of the songs.
Huening kai also adding adlibs "Go, go, go". (Mind you this is not part of the song)
2. TCHFTG is a unit song but all of them sang lines during this performance.
3. Also they have been training their vocals while running on treadmills. There is literally a video out there.
4. I can even hear Beomgyu's breathing during some parts.
5. Live singing and band goes hand in hand. It will be out of rythm with the band if it was prerecorded.
TXT are known and have been praised by many for their live singing.
@@diorgyu Yes I don't think it was ALL lipsync, ofc they did sing over smth, but I don't even think it was all live. Like, for example watch in loser lover, when yeon has to start his part, he is late with taking the mic but his rap part already started (26:20)... I do love them and I do know they can sing and dance but here it seemed to me to be prerecorded live, and It could also be that the band was prerecorded, I know that it sounds strange but I have many musicians in my family that played around and it does happen often. It's not bc i don't want to believe them but it's too strange that they did never loose their breath and stuff, they can be the best singers in the world and i do know they trained hard for that but it's just impossible for a human. Anyway this is my opinion, we'll never know the truth and yk what nevermind, i really love this performance and either case they did so great. Don't take this as hate (u didn't I guess but I hope noone does it), it's just my point of view, i could be wrong but what u said can't be official proofs
ah and maybe for the yeonjun part it's just that the backing track was too hight. So that could be and it would be explainatory fo nearly everything. Honestly I do think some songs (without choreo) were live and others weren't (?) or at least with a looud backtrack that covers, i'm still in doubt, anyway again nobody dies and that doesn't make them less valuable singers, so in any case let's enjoy this moment

I took my daughter to see them when they came to LA this last summer. I knew very little about them or their music at the time of the show. I was a fan before the end of the first song! I'm 48 - And, I agree their energy is unstoppable.

Yeah, they all sing well but Taehyun's voice is amazing and his range is amazing. Plus he is pitch perfect even when dancing! Some k-pop singers and dancers are so talented how they can sing perfectly yet dance such tough choreographies. They are beyond any American group I've ever seen (a bit reminds me of the Jackson 5 and MJ having to go that far back to find create choreography and strong singers.
I just clicked because I was curious I didn’t expect to stay for the whole set but they captivated me.

Nobody signs on here to read comments by a 50+yo dude but here I am so proud of these kids that they've become the first K-Pop idols to play the stage at Lollapalooza. And I'm really proud of the fandom that enabled that without reason to regret it. (The same respect goes to BTS, as both predecessors in the US market and, of course, Hobi's headlining performance the following day.

Ok where should I start to compliment this masterpiece.
1. Idk why but this is their realest performance I've ever watched. I mean, now I 1001% believe that THEY ARE EXIST. THEY DANCE. THEY SING.
2. The band version makes their every movements looks sharp and on point. My jaw dropped bcz they are THAT SYNCHRONIZED. I feel like they dance in 1.5x speed and I'm here exhausted just by watching them ㅠㅠ
3. The songs or setlist that chosen for this performance are just PERFECT. Especially TCHFTG. I was vibing and singing along as if I watch this in rl. I feel bunch of happiness.
4. Their energies, emotions, and stage presences are insane. That's what we called performers.
5. Their style of course! I love that the stylist gave something to difference one member from others. For example, Yeonjun and Beomgyu have blue and purple hair color so that they're easier to identify. Taehyun got red shirt. Soobin and Hueningkai have the same hair color, but Soobin wear sleeveless outer and shirt while Hueningkai wear longsleeve shirt.
6. The camerawork. I love how they mostly record the performance with unusual point of view and it feels new to me. And the quality video just... Love it.

I'm always proud of TXT, but that day at Lollapalooza I was beyond proud. They did amazingly, they turned the festival into their own concert. More TXT with live band in the future!

I hope they get more recognition in korea too TT. they are currently the most popular 4th gen male idols. They have the longest charting album on billboard 200 and its still charting now. Their music quality is amazing and its improving day by day. Txt members themselves write and compose music, they compete with bighit’s professional producers to have their songs on the album which is incredibly difficult. I’m super proud that they care more about the quality of their work rather than the quantity.

it's about to be a month since their lollapalooza performance but i haven't moved on at all. the swell of pride i feel everytime i remember and rewatch this is overwhelming. they did so well for their first time on a huge music festival in the us and im glad the crowd was filled with moas so you can really feel the support. im so so proud of tubatu and moas :((

I'm so grateful that eventhough they're kinda insecure about lollapalooza, like they're afraid if the crowd is going to be silent (taehyun said it in a vlive), but it turns out that there are lot lot lotss of moa, also shoutout to moarmys and moamultis + armys for coming and making them having the time of their lives 😭 so proud of txt look how far they've come, and they still have far to go
i wonder how many people became moas in that crowd, hopefully a handful because i’ve been a moa since they debuted, but if i wasn’t a moa and i was in that crowd, i would definitely look them up when i got home cause with music like that how can you not be a fan ?

TXT are seriously insane live... I was particularly impressed by Yeonjun, HueningKai and Beomgyu!
Their recent discography is perfect for this type of performance with instruments played live by a band. Their energy and overall performance is amazing. And their vocals and singing?!?!! Such great artists!!

I've never seen them as privileged before,yes their debut was hyped because they're from bighit but they have proved again and again that they worth the hype and I'm not even a moa so I'm saying this because I'm a fan
