yeah or Drew Gooden, also I am here 5 years later to learn how to do commentary videos. I will research and dive into rabbit holes of drama sometimes and know all about it. "I don't like making fun of people who are trying their best," Damn Danny, that might legitimately be the nicest thing I've ever heard a KRplusr say! Most reaction KRplusrs couldn't give a fuck about who they're reacting to, and I'm glad to know that you're one of the few who do!

“So bad that it’s not even funny” would be one of the critic reviews on the back cover of my autobiography. But honestly this was really, really helpful! Especially seeing how well you plan out/script your videos and what gear you use. Thank you for posting this. Seriously!!
Okay but the “Whats up Greg, welcome back to another episode- Whats up... what’s up Greg hope you’re having a great day-“ is the funniest shit I have ever seen
Honestly, finding out that you script out most of your videos makes me feel a lot better about my content, I just started and I always thought that you just improvised it all and I just found it so difficult to go through and be funny offhand for 10 minutes or so, this genuinely helped me a lot so thank you.

How many hours does it take you to produce a video? I’m always curious about how comparable a 9-5 job is to being a KRplusr in terms of amount of time spent working
It's very hard to say exactly because I feel like I actually spend most of my time actually coming up with ideas. And the amount of time that takes can vary a lot, it's definitely the biggest limiting factor of how often I post. Producing the actual video is probably something like: 2 hours of writing 1-2 hours of shooting Anywhere from 5-10 hours of editing (it can vary a lot depending on how much footage there is, if I have to make changes to get a brand deal approved and stuff like that) The finalizing process of uploading and creating a thumbnail and title probably takes an hour or two. And then I spend the next couple hours reading/responding to comments and looking at analytics and stuff. Some KRplusrs may only make videos but most also deal with things like emailing back and forth with brands/managers to work out brand deals/ go over merch stuff. That can take up a decent amount of time too. I think in general, the bulk of what most people would consider "work" takes up less time than a regular 9-5 job. But I do also feel like I'm never really done actually working. If you're a #influencer there's a pressure to be constantly monitoring videos performances, taking care of issues with videos if they pop up, checking twitter and responding to people and stuff like that, which constantly doing from when I wake up to when I go to bed most days. It doesn't necessarily have to be like that, but I think for many youtubers that's the case. All of this is based on my experience and process (which I've tried to streamline to make as efficient as possible). I don't really think there's any definitive way to measure the time of "being a youtuber" because it varies so much depending on what kind of videos you're making.
okay so i’m a film major and i work cameras and edit and everything and usually youtubers talk about this process like the are top tier experts of all this stuff but danny is so real i love it ALSO danny, when the audio overlaps onto the next clip, that’s actually a real technique used in actual cinema and it’s called an L cut! conversely, when the second clip’s audio starts on the first clip, that’s called a J cut! i’m so proud that danny just figured this out because it’s crucial in documentary and dialogue heavy filmmaking!!
I was singing Spooky Boy after watching the video again...catchy ass song. That and the Johnny Johnny song are possibly the best parody-type songs I’ve ever heard.
I still think the first Spooky Boy is the best thing he's produced; just...👌 (It's All Downhill From Here, or whatever it's called, is pretty good, too)

Okay but for the first two minutes of the video I legit was looking at his eyes... *They’re beautiful* I know that sounds super fucking cheesy but I mean *LOOK*
your editing, along with your sense of humor, is what makes your content so binge-able. the overlapping audio really does make a noticeable difference, makes everything flow so effortlessly that it’s easy to just keep watching one video after another.
Danny acts like he isn’t sure if this is interesting, but as a non-KRplusr-not-planning-to-be-a-You-Tuber, I’m totally riveted by seeing the behind-the-scenes process. Mad props to Danny and creators like him who have to go with their gut and hope their content is funny every time they make a video without much feedback throughout the process. And he still kills it every time!
Do ads at the very end of the video help the creator? Can you place them there? I get those after 99% of the videos I watch so it makes me feel like it can't be all of the different creators that put these there on purpose.
If it's over 10 minutes KRplusrs can put as many ads as they want in the video wherever they want. If it's under 10 minutes I'm pretty sure an ad just gets placed at the start or end automatically.
@@Wschmidth The question wasn't about how many ads are allowed, she asked what was the benefit of putting them at the very end of the video because it's an odd placement.
