I drew a girl I liked because she was moving away. I sat behind her and missed out on everything my English teacher said. I showed it to her and she really like it. I almost got a detention because I was late to my next lesson, but it was worth it. I never told her but I’m glad it ended that way. (And Tuesday 23rd March I realised she may have actually liked me back, so I fumbled)

I'm introverted, but I've always had a lot of friends, and it's weird because most times, I'm down to socialize and be high energy, but if I'm around a bunch of people too long, I eventually have to retreat to someplace an be alone and chill. 🤷‍♂️

My experiences are a bit different, I am always in my bed when it happens, never on a couch or somewhere else, I just lay completely still, and I’ve never actually seen it, I only feel its presence. It usually lingers over me, sometimes to my side. I can’t move, and I can’t make noise, so I just lay there, usually I’m too focused trying my hardest to move my body than I ever am actually trying to look at whatever is above me. I get it on a regular basis, maybe once every two weeks, it does bother me from time to time, but ultimately I moreorless just accepted it as a usual occurrence. I usually wake up after, sometimes sweaty, sometimes not, but I always just sit up and take a moment to breathe before falling back to sleep. It has happened twice before that I go back to sleep and appear in the exact same nightmare. Both times, I ended up just staying awake to do homework instead. Don’t get me wrong, it’s terrible, but it’s not super dramatic, it just happens. You move on with your day and forget about it until it happens again, I don’t really have trouble sleeping either. I don’t like that people treat it as some ultimate crazy thing, it’s just something that happens.

it is literally only a 30-1 hour bus drive to my boyfriends house but because he lives in the city, and I live in a village, along with not going to the same school/college anymore I don't get to see him often; trust me twice a week isn't much for us. But we make it work! though I congratulate people who are in full blown long distance relationships I get that can be difficult

I can totally get and respect wanting to challenge and stimulate, basically to "wake up" yourself, however as someone with a family who moved A LOT in the last 6-7 years, all I can say here that moving to a country where you don't speak the language is the dumbest thing ever. My mother always tells to all of her friends that if you move, don't be an idiot and learn at least half or 1/3 of that language, or the amount of struggle you'll put yourself through will be insane. Still, congratulations to you for getting through and managing to get better at this whole process, it really is a big life turning event, it will definitely help you on the long run. 👍
