McGregor was humble in victory as well as defeat, he’s a legend there’s no doubt about that but I do think once you have reached the level of unbelievable success that he has, you tend not to be as hungry, you tend to be at peace with yourself. In the game of life this is calming, in the fight game it can be time to hang it up.

Mcconnor says when your inactive you lose. So he called himself a loser. A few whippings usually humbles cocky fighters. Good to see connor get whooped but now instead of being a cock he becomes full of excuses.

Its not his boxing style that caused him to loss. First off boxing will give you thhe footwork necessary to get out of trouble. It will also give you better indication for punches and to roll with them. The real issue is his new "style" doesn't incorporate any of that, rather what you see is a conor who wants to plant his feet and swing. Sure thats great for power, but boxing wise he lacked in every other department.
Secondly his team around him aren't honest enough to work on what he's lacking rather what he does great. Conors never had great defence there are alot of aspects to it, once hes pushed back he stands upright and easily proned to getting hit. Basically he can dish but doesnt know how to take it. What got him away from all this trouble inn the past, was his lighter frame and more bouncy ln his toes which covered up his lack of fundamentals in there. Now that hes more flat footed he doesn't have any movement to get him out, regardless of leg kicks. He did not pivot not get away from the cage showing no ring generalship which is a boxing fundamental.
