Here in Peru we used to be able to import used cars from Japan and converted them to lhd, cutting and refurbishing the dashes and sketchy rewelded racks

R34 wheels look good on a lot of cars. But given the damage to the rest of the car I'd be surprised if they are not bent out of shape. R34 GTR wheels are about $2k in good shape.

If only, having shipped a car in the past, companies will only accept an empty vehicle with less than a quarter tank of fuel. You need to remove anything they deem necessary because of liability.
the parts can also get stolen in the middle of shipping. It happened to a buddy of mine that shipped over a gtst

Pretty sure he said that it wouldn't have a salvage title.
Even Restored. It's going to have better value staying as original as possible because so many of them have been modded to hell.

@@JenesisGaming in all honesty, if the car is rebuilt perfectly and their were no structural issues at the time of the crash it deserves to have a clean orginal title. Seems cosmetic to me.
@@JenesisGaming as long as the car is rebuilt to factory spec or better, it will be irrelevant as long as it has a good title as far as value goes. And in this case it would be hard for him to be dishonest about it at this point, it's all on vid and documented.
LHD conversion, modifications and non genuine parts does not sound like a investment car. Keeping it stock is only way.how many stock RHD supra's JDM are left. Not many

Gairif0 this is absolutely an investment. Most vehicles are the worst investment you can make but not a collector car that appreciates yearly. Doing the LHD will depreciate the value

He should seriously keep those GT-R wheels on there! Looks cleaner if he kept it stock and un-moded. Engine performance upgrades and a 1-2 inch drop is perfect.

The problem with nsxs is they're expensive to get, expensive to modify, and have pretty limited power options. Plus as soon as you start modifying, the value starts going down. A non modifiable car doesn't make very good KRplus content

I did a conversion on a Audi A4B5 and it was a mess, never got the AC to work correctly, so please no conversion.

That cool factor will eventually get old if you drive it often. Especially if its a manual. Even If I had the money to import a Skyline I would be hesitant to do it mostly because they are RHD. But if I was a collector with plenty of other cars to drive I would not mind it.

Not to be a negative Nancy, I have experience in purchasing from various Japanese auctions for export & TBH you overpaid. e.g JZA80- with 6 speed Getrag sold @ TAA Kyushu on 7th Jan 2020 for $12,070.00 with a perfectly intact body & 93,000km

Same I'm freaking out about it. RHD is not hard or horrible in the USA. I know it sounds weird but if it's the left hand turns he doesn't like take the fedex approach , right turns only.
Either way it's not that bad. Takes some getting used to but it quickly feels normal.

Yeah no close to double that. 40 thousand to 50 thousand pounds. A legendary jdm car is not going to be cheap in other places there's no way around it. For the condition its in he didn't get a steal but he didn't get wripped off. It's only the beginning with prices go see if it's gonna be cheaper. Supra parts are expensive af
