As a woman who has been subjected to sexual encounters with men online, this song is very personal to me. Men don’t realize that women are more than just a sexual attraction to them. In todays society, men need to open their eyes and realize that women are capable of anything, not just being used as objects for their sexual desires (not every man is like that)

I love the idea of Nymphology and how it symbolises the stereotype of woman being mum’s and cleaning and cooking, etc. Melanie stands up for all females when she says “I will not suffer” and “Auctioned to a selfish man who thinks that he’s the prophecy” Mel addresses that these people who are demonising her don’t even take the time to understand who or what she is and her feelings. They instead repress her for her feminine attributes, and because of the way she’s being treated, she is treating the people repressing her with the same disrespect by spelling out Nymphology. Such a genius 🤍🕯️

Why the actual heck are people hating on her!? Her music always sounded innocent but has a really dark meaning behind it, and her aesthetic was always creepy/crazy! But now because she looks different everyone is hating on her? I don’t see any hate on the mad hatter music video and that was more insane then probably all her PORTALS songs combined. Come on, people.
