I find it fascinating how they can wiggle their bodies to move around and even stand themselves up and pounce all without arms or legs. It’s so cool! Also I’ve held a snake once or twice and their scales are so smooth! I want to have one as a pet at some point but my parents would probably disagree 😁😅

That’s an interesting response. I never understood laughing as a fear response. I just stop doing whatever it is I’m doing, close my eyes, and try to rationalize through it, to varying degrees of success.

If you want someone to surpass a snake phobia, corn snakes are a great place to start. They’re little and rarely bite. Also, ball pythons are super docile and great for handling.
I think nobody should overcome this fear it's in our genes for human survival
schngstbr mistery yt lore It makes no sense to fear a harmless snake, yet own a cat. As long as you stay away from dangerous snakes, you’ll be fine. Corn snakes, ball pythons, western hognoses, mexican kingsnakes, and milk snakes literally can’t kill you and make great pets.

@@schngstbrmisteryytlore8584 Phobias are not entirely genetic. And there is no reason to let someone suffer with a phobia. It doesn't seem that she is affected in her daily life by her fear, but there are people afraid of snakes that get panic attacks even if they only see a picture or are afraid to go into nature because there might be a snake. Those phobias should be treated, and most effective seems exposure therapy, in little steps or flooding.
schngstbr mistery yt lore personallly I prefer snakes to lions but ig lions are better since they have four legs and are therefore harmless. We don’t need a fear of snakes to survive today in most places. Most fears are learned. We don’t need to fear snakes

@@jadecrosley4420 I too have snakes though only 3 of them are there to stay the rest is just looking for a home because they either have a deficiency, an illness or they were rescued. (My friend leads a reptile rescue and I had expiriance so he chose me as his partner in crime)

I have many friends who are terrified of snakes. and as a snake owner myself, it's quite sad that I cannot share my love for them with my friends. But it's completely understandable for people to be scary of them, I mean everyone is scared of something. For example, i'm petrified of big bodies of water, I cannot handle the ocean, rivers, lakes, hell I can't even go in a pool alone without panicking. So what I'm really trying to say is, seeing someone face their fear like this is amazing really.
