Sliding on hardwood floors is definitely fun so I can see the appeal of the fun slides, except you can't really get a running start in them, because you would slip and fall. I remember back in school when the corridors were lined with this tile that was really easy to slide on and every time I would go to the bathroom in the middle of the class I would run and then slide through the corridor. Sometimes when my classroom was too close to the bathroom to get any sliding distance I would even walk to the end of the corridor so I could do that.

It can be if it's got multiple layers. If it was just waterproof the coffee would just run off of it and still end up flowing onto your legs, so it'd be useless.
The outer layer would be an absorbent fabric and then the second layer would be waterproof.

Katie Sabin it can be both - like think of putting a towel over a piece of wax paper and pouring water on it. The water wouldn’t get through (waterproof) but it would be absorbed by the towel. It’s not a contradiction. However the product clearly is not absorbent enough.

I don't know how many people will see this considering this video is two years old but products like the slob stopper are usually created with disabled people in mind, but most companies aren't interested in advertising to them/with them. For instance, someone with paralysis from the waist down isn't going to be able to properly lean over a table if eating/drinking something very hot and also won't be able to feel it, so a product like that would keep them from unknowingly burning themselves. Another one that gets made fun of a lot is the snuggie, because why wouldn't you just use a regular blanket/put on a sweater? But for someone by themselves in a wheelchair, blankets can get caught in the spokes and putting on sweaters can be really time consuming or difficult, especially if you're just chilling at home and feeling lazy. It's made to be thin enough in width that it doesn't interfere with the wheelchair, and the open part is in the back for easy use.
This is so shitty when they are not advertising for the people who need it most. Like I get they are trying to target mainstream but honestly who is dumb enough to buy the bib when they have no use of it? I think the advertisements needs to be more specific and should be more diverse. Instead they use same ideas people used when selling wipes or something
