I think it's from Three Cheers since the song To The End was apparently based on a poem called A Rose For Emily and it was both said on the MCR subreddit and on another comment here so it must be true :) So this song is basically a sequel to To The End. Which makes me think even more that TBP was originally going to be a sequel to Three Cheers (or maybe it technically is already?)
A Rose for Emily is actually a short story by William Faulkner about a woman who (probably) killed her fiancé and kept his decaying body in her bed where she slept every night.

Pretty sure this song was supposed to be in 'the paper kingdom' since the lyrics would perfectly fit in the story that the album was supposed to tell
'Parents in a support group because they lost their children in an accident'
For me this song tells a story of two people talking to eachother
First, Emily; a little girl 'accidentaly' killed by her mother/father
And then the mother/father of Emily who 'gave her the gun' as said in the lyrics
The parents probably had a gun lying around and Emily wanted to 'play' with said gun and shot herself in the head, again, as said in the lyrics
Emily's soul then tells the mother to hide the corpse so no one will find out
The mother/father went to the support group and explained the situation as 'the worst thing that I've ever done' and the rest is pretty clear

guys, this song was supposed to be on the 5th album: “the paper kingdom”, that was going to be about a group of parents talking about how they lost their children, it was mostly going to be about a fantasy world of witches and things like that, they tried to go back to their obscure era but eventually broke up, but now that they’re back, who knows what will happen
Any source for this? Yes, TPK did have those themes but I don't see why a song with similar thematics during TBP era necessarily means it was intended for TPK.

@@marshall1391 when they reissued Black Parade/Living With Ghosts they did a weird tweet with an X that made everyone think they were reuniting since the twitter had largely been dead at that point except for retweets and promoting old material. Then it was announced it was a 10th anniversary rerelease and everyone got mad
I don't know why, but this my "Mama" song.
It just clicks with my transition.
The "little girl" is my inner child,
the singer is my mama,
"Emily" who got away is me,
"the gun" are the autistic traits and traumatic reactions I have;
so I gave my mama the gun (hostility when coming out) to shoot me (rejected me when transitioning),
the inner child is now severely wounded, my mama is in shock and in grief,
and since I am withdrawn from her and my family, mama wants to "figure it out", so we don't have to "be afraid", and so I can "come home".
I don't think she's emotionally available to repair things, or ask me to come back, so it's nice to have this song.
I think the grief, lost and the longing just does it, this together with All The Angels just hits me like Mama but harder
