Well, it's not really that crazy that the cast is concerned about how this series might be received by the rest of the world given that it is an adaptation of one of the most successful series from Netflix and that the original *Casa de Papel* is still very recent (last season was released just last year!) so of course there will be comparisons.
This series is good and I love how they involved the political tensions between the two Koreas into the story and the idea that they could unify as a country. I also loved the development they gave to Tokyo in this story. However, there were other characters like the Professor or Denver that I rather find weak. All in all, it's a good series but the original remains being better.

Kim Ji Hun, who performs as a warm-hearted former gangster is such a great actor. He once was called the second Jang Dong Geon in Korea from the way he looks. He seems calm, versatile, and funny at the same time. Hope he gets the world's attention through Making of Money Heist: Korea.
I just done watching until episode 6 right now😂 Berlin character never dissapoint👏 The cast are amazing their acting skills are on another level🔥 Can't wait for the next episode hope it will release sooner.

I am a big fan of the original show and I am watching this Korean adaptation right now. I love how they added the tensions between the two Koreas in the story and I love how they changed Tokyo's character to make her more badass and less impulsive and immature of how she was in the original series. From the characters of this version, I found Tokyo, Berlin, Moscow, negotiator Seon Woo Jin, Misun great! I also found great how equally dislikable the Director of the Mint Bureau was in this version as Arturito was in the original series and how the actor kind of resembled Kim Jong Un...
I still prefer the original show but I appreciate all the effort that Koreans put in this version to differentiate it from the original. It has some flaws but all in all it's a very good adaptation.
see, the writer was offered to do a remake not the other way a round of what people was thinking. i am actually loving the idea of this remake than original. the original is cool yes (esp tokyo and denver👀) but it's too much for me, too much bed scene. I want the story to focus more in the main genre of the series which i find more this remake to be likeable.
The only think i would like them to change is the filter and maybe the cast is way too neat and clean. But i guess that's what makes this remake to be different than the original which is also great. I also wish they wouldn't follow the original that much. Trust me people will like it more if it was different from the original don't listen to those people who keeps comparing each version as if it wasn't called remake for a reason.

lmao if this was an american adaptation people would be LIVID if they changed up the plot from the original. for example if hollywood announced a remake of squid game i bet people would shit on that💀 you are all just eating up this adaptation bc its a korean one🤷🏻♀️
so far the adaptation is not bad but comparing it to the original is hilarious. the OG is always going to be superior. im not a fan of too much sex scenes either but saying the adaptation is better than the original bc of less sex scenes is ridiculous lmao.
korean money heist is like money heist but for elementary schoolers😹 i’m enjoying it quite a bit but i didn’t feel the spark i felt while watching the og money heist. so far i wouldn’t want them to change anything else from the story. the og story was such a masterpiece that there’s no need for change. what i DO like is the south/north conflict they added.
Finished the whole ss1 and I enjoyed it. We are looking forward for ss2!! Much love from Canada 🇨🇦! Also, Money Heist Korea is in top 10 for Netflix Canada. Congratulations ❤️

They are all amazing actors, everyone played their characters so well, and brought a differentiating Korean uniqueness to the original series.

It's great to see how they focused on each and every detail and wanted to show the historical figure in their currency to be recognized by another nation but most of them didn't notice about that and kept on criticizing that it's not as good as the original one but despite that the korean screenwriter paid attention to every small details which can be a perfect blend of Spanish + korean money heist. It's sad that the global audience failed to recognize that and kept on criticizing about the korean version.

It’s not really a behind the scenes, more like just telling us what to expect
For me, to make the series better, they could've changed the character names instead of following the original, or they could make it look like it's the continuation of what happened in the original Money Heist and some people were influenced in Korea so they did the same thing.
Nevertheless, it's a great series. 9/10
Lol they can't do that because it would look like a show of its own. There are a lot of discussions and agreement in which what part of the show they can tweak or should remain the same like the one in the original.
This is still just an adaptation and most of the elements of the original must stay the same to remain its identity as Money Heist from spain.
So when will the part 2 be shown? That is the question.

am i the only one notice that rio and anne has more chemistry?? no joke i eas excited to see Jongseo and hyunwoo act as tokyo and rio because finally there's a chemistry between rio and tokyo but i was wrong.... Just like the original both tokyo is such a strong character who isn't compatible with any of the guys. I rather see tokyo ended up with no one than to continue their love line. I rather see more scenes with anne and rio in part 2 and season 2. (ngl anne gets in to my nerves last minutes of the series lol.)

I just wish they made a point of changing from paper money, to plastic. Plastic money in countries like Australia is much harder to fake.
Add a small Korean peninsula as a comma on the number 100,000.
Even as it is, I hope they sell the fake money as souvenirs to fans all over the world.
I haven't seen the original Spain version, but I actually enjoyed the part 1. Although, the royal fan base to Spain version (at least amongst Korean fans) speaks dirty about the Korean version, but I think that's because they already know 5 parts of original version...Although, Korean take on the plot and characters do differ from the original, it's only 6 episodes, god dang it. Actors and actresses are saying part 2 is much more intense and better; so, we just have to wait. Remember when Spain released Part 1, it was like 12 or 13 episodes, and heard it was pretty draggy initially..
I’m one of those people who had sworn to never watch the original because I didn’t find it appealing. And when it was announced that there would be a Korean version I was super excited because I know Koreans wouldn’t drag it out too much. So I watched the Korean version last week and really liked it But I felt something missing between the Professor and the inspector’s Romance. And that made me finally check out the Spanish one. Wow! And I was right. The Professor and Inspector romance is brilliant in the original. And I liked Nairobi from the original. Except that I think the Koreans have pulled it off. Like they always do ♥️

I like the scenerie and that it plays in Korea, but I find too much is really just copied out of the original.
And the names of the crew doesn't suit into this asian style apart from Tokyo.
The shots in part 9 in the house are really cool and in POV style and shakey so intense and fast. Really cool.
But what's the reason for making a Korean version?
