I grew up going to Lake Peru alot as an child n teenager, n adult with my own children n the currents were always rough n I never went swimming far out or on a boat we only went from the beach area the call it n it was not deep at all . This Lake is way to dangerous to be swimming in it ! I was so sorry to hear about the tragedy that took her life thank god she saved her boys life ... N I was very surprised to hear she was alone with her child only . It's very unsafe to go by urself out to the Lake u should always have another adult person with u . I dnt understand why she was all by herself . It's all very sad ...I heard her sister n her x were romantically involved in a relationship soon after her death . I dnt think she would of been comfortable with them being together because , she had a terrible break up with him n custody problem also ....
Never go in a lake deeper than your body it's dangerous!!!!

This was a Strange one...... Renting boat...... Taking her son on the boat!!!!! Poor girl.... I think she was depressed she was taking anti depressions... What's strange in why would she not listen and grab a life jacket!!!!! How scary....... She was beautiful. .. nothing promised....... God bless her
That’s what I keep asking myself too “why wasn’t she wearing a life vest/life jacket & after her passing people kept saying she was dumb for not wearing 1 which she wasn’t dumb or anything she just wasn’t in the right mindset at the time but she saved her son & for any mother that is the bravest thing a mother can do in my book she is a HERO

Pretty sure it's not what happened. The kid survived despite of her. The press wants her to look like a hero but she was not, she took her kid there with horrible intentions.
