My dad is a realtor, they’re not really supposed to give specific opinions on a house that could sway your decisions in any away, but anytime he sees someone truly struggling on making such an important decision he always has a one-to-one with them and will say “this is just an empty vessel waiting for you to bring all of your love into it and make it a home, as long as you bring your love, it can be your home” and he says it’s his favourite part of his job :)
The LA house held such joyous and tumultuous chapters in your lives. It is sad that you’re moving on from it, but it’s all for the better. You’re both different people now than you were when you first bought the LA house and despite how big it is, you outgrew it. You outgrew LA. You outgrew this scene.

@@shannonbarbie2023 they weren't youtubers just coworkers who worked from cali and moved to Chicago since when they visited here where I live, they liked it better than Cali. One of my friends recently moved back out here from Cali after the fires and said that was the last straw for him. I think I only remember one youtuber moving from Silicon valley to Chicago but I can't give you a name since I don't remember them, I know I was watching a video on stocks, marketing, and trade. But people mostly move here due to downtown being cheaper than SF and silicon Valley. You get more for your buck basically when you move to Chicago. Not just Cali either, places like Newyork, Texas, New Mexico, etc. And its high in culture, foods, diversity, art, music. So I can see why people choose Chicago. And the only places where there are high crimes at is the outer side of downtown where tourist aren't at or shouldn't be. Like South side is a big no no for people with expensive cars, clothes, etc, and don't go alone at night. Thats anywhere tho, you shouldn't be by yourself in any high populous area tbh. But if you have any more questions or something just ask away.

Seeing Shane again just melts my heart, after all this drama, and he has so much anxiety and is so sensitive but he shows up on camera again, I am so proud of him.
I don’t believe in love however if I ever wanted to get married I would want a love like Shane and Ryland for real❤️ Shane being so empathetic and supportive of Ryland’s mini melt down was just heart warming for real!
I thought the same once. I found out love is very real. It took me to 25 to realize it. I fell in love with her so hard then a year later she was diagnosed with cancer. We fought it together for 3 years while falling more in love every day. She passed last year and i miss her every day. Im 29 now and i dont know if ill ever find love like that again but at least i know that kind of love exists and gives me some hope. Before she passed she made me promise to not dwell on her and find love again but not sure if im ready just yet but im staying open minded but not actively pursuing anyone. My only advice to just be open because if youre not, you may miss out on the greatest person you could ever hope for. Not telling you how to think but saying to just keep an open mind.

My mom passed away suddenly after being married to my dad for 50 years and it’s been the most heartbreaking thing to watch him miss her and try to move on at the same time. As for me I’m almost 41 and I’ve loved so hard and have now found comfort in being alone so I never close the door but I’m not looking or wanting it either. Too much hurt has happened I’ve been in two really violent relationships and I know not all men are like that but it takes a toll on your heart and I’m happy where I am.

I’m the same way! My health has been deteriorating for the past year and it’s hard to get motivated to do anything. Sometimes I even feel guilty watching Shane and Rylands videos because there is so much false information out there about them, but I need to let that mentality go because I know how they present themselves on their platforms is not even half the story. People are so cruel and hurtful online and it’s hard to let that go sometimes, but I believe anyone deserves more changes, especially if they show that they have changed, which Shane clearly has. And if you can’t see that, that’s your problem

My husband and I moved from our house of 14 yrs and I cried like a baby the first night and it took a little to adjust to (sounds, layout, etc) but it was the best thing we ever did. We've seen so much of his journey.. especially after this past year seeing Shane candidly makes me emotional. Brings back memories

I agree! The internet is so cruel to people and I hate it, nobody deserves to get hate like Shane did. Ya he made mistakes, but everyone has, and judging a person for what they have done in the past and comparing it to who they are now is never fair.

I totally understand the sentimental sadness but the excitement to move. My husband and I are currently in a similar situation. but I am so excited for the two of you, and it has been so nice seeing a positive, excited Shane back on the internet :)

@@SuicideRedemption I don’t wanna argue with you, and I agree he has done some messed up things, but that was so long ago, and I don’t think it’s fair to judge a person today based on their past. You’d be surprised how much someone can change in a year, or a few months. And there is a lot of false information out there, so please don’t believe everything you see or hear. Once again people think they know everything about an influencer. Influencers show a very small part of their lives, you see around 10-30 minutes of the person every week or so and you think you know them. Its not fair to judge a person based off a small amount of information that has been posted on social media.

I can’t help but remember when they first moved in and we’re so scared of loosing the house because of the wild fires going on. Feels like just yesterday
