Watching the rise of Stanley is so surreal. When I was a kid in the 80s, it was literally the "dad" cup. Like, my grandfather, dad, and all my uncles carried their Stanley thermoses and coffee cups to their job sites. They all worked outside (construction) and Stanley was what they used to keep their coffee hot all day. They had the tall green Stanley with the jiggly handle and coffee cup that screwed on top. I still have my grandpa's from back in the 90s. (And it still keeps the coffee hot!) It's so weird to see little girls fighting over them.
I didn't even know kids were into them too. I just thought it was "Midwestern moms" and basic white girls. IT'S JUST A CUP FOR FUX SAKE

I told my son that it takes at least 5yrs to get to a point in the relationship to really get to communicate on a level that vibes within the 2 people, n then it takes 10 to get thru the scenarios that don't occur daily so u know ur dos n donts of the relationship. No need to get mad about every situation the 1st time as long as u voice the way ur feelings. I will say I have been with my husband for 26yrs n I love him more everyday but the beginning was not like that n I didn't really appreciate everything I had until 10yrs in, I also know he wasn't far from the same feeling

Just an fyi that it’s totally normal if you don’t feel immediately connected to your baby. It took me some time to really connect with my first born because I was figuring things out. I was immediately concerned about her and making sure she was well but that strong mother bond took some time.

Me too it was horrible I had it in 1987 with my first and they called it the baby blues. Well it wasn't the blues lol it was a catastaphre. I thought why'd I do this. Than I swore off no more babies but when she was ten I really did get pregnant in accident with of all things twin boys. My doctor wasn't playing he remembered me lol so I wlked out of that first appt with Prozac and it changed everything for me. I adored them and only had a few bad days. Now they are all grown and I'd do it all over in a minute. Raising my kids were the happiest and the most important thing I ever did. These guys are doing such a good job it seems. @@catfasoldt
They took my baby immediately away to the NICU and I didn't even see her for 2 days almost because i was in so much pain. (Labor cramps like continued even after birth. why the F doesn't anyone tell you the horrible things that happens?!)

Absolutely agree. I felt like a bad mom because I didn’t have an instantaneous burst of love- it took me some time to bond and connect but now I’m totally wrecked by the amount of love I feel for my girls!! It’s different for everyone and I wish more people knew that. I felt especially bad with my second because she was in the hospital for several weeks after birth and it really took me time to build a bond with her. PPD is bad enough without that added expectation making you feel even worse. It’s an overwhelming time so I think it makes sense to need some time to connect!

Jerid is extremely insightful, I feel. Anytime he goes into conspiracy mode... I'm so into it! Always appreciate individuals who do homework and are knowledgeable to some degree in what they're speaking on.

For the girl whose boyfriend won't compliment her:
I was in the SAME situation with my BF. He would never compliment me, never tell me he loved me first and would even reject holding my hand because it was 'sweaty' despite living in Wisconsin where half the year it's frigid.
I spoke to him about it, explained how I need to hear these things & we would have discussions on how I could be a better GF for him, and him a better BF for me. Cut to me making these changes immediately & him doing absolutely nothing. It was 9 months of me always begging him to compliment me, tell me he loved me first, on top of some other things like personal hygiene, keeping his space clean & being better with money.
He didn't put in ANY of the work. Not one thing changed. Not a single thing. After those 9-months, I finally broke it off and never regretted it.
Some men, are still boys & he will not make the change unless he wants to. Not saying don't try, but don't give all of yourself for no return.
I also think it’s an insecure thing. Once my boyfriend started to tell me something then he stopped and I told him just to tell me, and he told me a lot of his friends thought I was pretty but he didn’t want to tell me bc he thought my ego would get too high and leave him 😂😵💫😵💫

My baby is 10 months old and he too struggled with pooping, as I'm sure most do. My husband and I got the Frida baby windi gas passer and not only did it help him fart, but he inevitably pooped every time we used it and it saved him, us, our marriage, and lots of money on doctors co-pays. 😂 Highly recommend!

My baby is one week younger than Jet and Max and he has poop issues too. So I totally get the excitement of seeing them have a bowel movement. My pediatrician suggested the Gerber probiotic drops “Soothe” and I combined with Mylicon gas relief, it has helped so much. Hope max feels better cause if he’s anything like my baby it makes him so fussy and I cry with him 😫. Love you guys

The tape measure trend was going around with hairdressers as well!! I saw a ton of salons post it to see if they could eyeball 4 inches of hair. Results were mixed. Some did great, some were a few inches off.
My daughter had poop issues, we had to change her formula. Once we did she no longer had issues! She’s lactose intolerant like me so we had to find something to replace dairy.
