@@RedRoseSeptember22 i dont know why everyone wants to choose one little thing they dont like so they choose something as dumb as not doing anything in classes and complaining how you dont have the option to "sleep" in class when you literally have the option to PRANK another student. what else could you ask for? no one wants to sit in class anyways, after school activities are way more fun and interesting thats why they give you so much free time.

I love how the voice actors are using a lot of our current teen ‘slang’. I bet it will be so weird for the next generations to rewatch this and cringe from how we used to talk. Hopefully sims will go on for that long

For someone who didn’t get that perfect high school end (class of 2020😢). This pack being made is truly a game changer for me, I’ll get to finish out prom and graduation even if its virtual😂 (thank you to the Sims 4💕)

Same, our school delayed our prom from mid february to mid march and then the rise of covid canceled it for real
Awe, this makes me sad 😭🫶🏽. It’s things like this that make you more excited for them thinking of the players when creating. My sister was class of 2020 as well.

I was gonna how unrealistic it is for lunch to be "drama central", but then I remembered I got caught in the crossfire of two girls fighting over a boy and literally lost my lunch over it.
According to early access footage nothing really happens during lunch other than sitting and eating but fights can autonomously happen after school
@@reading1713 thats also realistic. There was a rumor at my high school where if there were three fights in a day, we got to go home early. So people were starting fights for the stupidest reasons so we could go home early for Christmas.
The school looks so much more packed in this but in the gameplay I’ve seen it looks very VERY empty
Yes, five students max. But I think this is due to the fact that the worlds are underpopulated since only the pack and basegame is installed, so I wouldn‘t worry much about it.
Yeah what Sophie said is true, the highschool will be able to have 20 sims just like every other lot. And the BG only has like 4-5 teens so it’ll look different when people actually play it.

I also really hate how old these teens look-like they shouldn’t look like preteens but there’s absolutely no reason Kevin looks 35, or Molly 27. I hope the Sims team really takes a look at the genetic system and the way they build teen shapes and physiques so they can stop inheriting their middle age parents wide hips and beer bellies 🥴

I agree but aren’t all of them portrayed as seniors? Considering prom and all? Maybe they could’ve had a freshman/sophomore vibe and then a junior senior vibe for this pack.

@@lilliethshadows wow that’s interesting prom is typically for seniors only, and sometimes juniors have a prom. The only dance/formal where all grades attend is homecoming.

you can't call lunch drama central when the cafeteria is a large empty room with three dining tables and an adult manning the lunch bar.

For anyone who hasn't seen early access content: All the afterschool activities are rabbitholes and your sims can't do anything in class, not even sleep on the chair.

this pack is perfect for me, a high schooler sitting cross-legged on my bed, using a social media platform, wearing thrifted clothing, drinking boba, and having just come from one of my friend's twitch streams💀💀

*PLEASE READ EA*
- You guys seriously need to add a lot for the Carnival because we have no way to travel there without going to another lot and already seeing it being a problem since sims invited don't show up there and are having Rando sims showing up at lots going inside the houses. There is an area from what I can tell that has a sitting area and a bubble tea booth already there that can maybe be a 10/10 locked lot to not be changed to anything else or allow us to add a different venue type like a Cafe/Karaoke Bar
Just build a park right next to the lot. And go to the park. If it bothers you that bad.
@@neville2308 - I'm thinking You don't comprehend the problems with that! NO sims, Not even your own go to the Carnival of their Own! Even Randos sims who work at the booths come to lot not knowing what do, and if the lot is a house they walk in like they belong there so if you like that than EA probably will Never address this problem.
@@cinnisims8448 In Tartosa, the flower cart vendor, the bakery vendor and food stall vendors all show up to work at their scheduled times even though they're part of the town square and not on an official lot, so I don't see why it would be any different for Copperdale. Same with Moonwood Mill. The werewolf packs show up at their pack hangouts and you can go there and interact with them without having to deal with a loading screen. It's one of these world's best features, in my opinion. I'm glad EA has been doing this in there most recent worlds and I hope it continues. People have been complaining about not having open worlds for years and now they are finally (sort of) giving it to us. I can't imagine why anyone would want to go back to closed lots. I also have never had anyone walk into my home uninvited in either Tartosa or Moonwood Mill. I have also seen sims go to these public areas on their own. If sims are not showing up to the Carnival, then that is a big issue and I hope they fix it before the pack is released to the public - but I wouldn't want it to be tied to a lot. That would be going backwards. They made it work in Tartosa and Moonwood Mill, so they should be able to make it work in Copperdale too. The Carnival is the thing I'm looking forward to the most out of this pack.
@@GK-ob1ni - I'm not trying to argue this issue. I get some players don't expect better when it comes to routing issues, and I had only suggested what I thought could help. This comes from my observation after watching couple of videos of EA creators who had early access.
- I personally don't like Randos showing up and walking into houses uninvited, and it's been happening way more since Cottage Living but
feel it started with Island Living and what's bad about this, you can't tell them to leave a lot of times unless you zone out.
-As for Carnival, from what I've seen of these videos, is sims don't interact with anything there except maybe the baba tea booth and seats.
-If not at a park I'm going to assume as I've not seen videos how invited sims interact if at all, but if on a residential lot, invited sims will not go to it or stay there, but probably at your house doing things they shouldn't be doing like...cooking, sleeping, taking baths and using your pc when in real life people don't do that stuff when they go to people houses, maybe family.

@@liamw6562 Unfortunately it does fall short. After school activities are rabbitholes and you can't interact at all in class - you get those chance card popups but they don't even actually happen to your sim.

You can purchase a cheerleading mat and a rugby ball in build mode I can see why it’s a rabbit hole because it would be a lot more work to add in

@@jayleenkai I don’t think EA hired Zendaya to voice a sim in a 3 minute trailer that’s only for KRplus. That would be super expensive for no reason.

There’s a saved file that redid all worlds she’s pretty good and has a lot of events in the game your sim has off a lot during summer for summer break vacation etc check it out
@@divalove88 it still wouldve been nice to have it in the game though since i may be wrong but i imagine it could affect your sims performance also other sims arent off so idk it just feels wrong but im still fine with it since i didnt think of having the summer holidays until i seen the comment u replied to

no, just disappointment. the school is available, but the classes aren't interactive, and rabbit holes are practically the main thing. do not buy.
The most irritating part about this pack is the high school in Sims is currently named Buckingham High. Will that change or are we supposed to suspend belief so when you “join” teens at school they go to Copperdale, but when you select “send alone” they’re at Buckingham? Did anyone else notice this?
The Sims should hire an official Historian who is responsible for continuity in the lore. The Historian would review new content to make sure it is consistent with existing stories.
hmmm, you should send an email to EA since they change stuff like that at the peoples recommendations. with the goth refresh and neighborhood stories i think they’re taking lore more seriously but this is def an oversight i’m sure that can be fixed if we bring enough attention to it

What's the point of making a teen whose mom's the principal if you can't play her household without her mom losing her role as the principal? You did this exact thing with Sarah Scott in Cottage Living.

Im so excited. Ive been watching all the early access simmers videos. Body hair, acne? How awesome! Gameplay is so important. I was scared the classes would be a rabbit hole. So happy its not.
But your sim goes to sit down in the class and that's it. The staff even fast forwarded the classes as there's no gameplay. So not much better then a rabbit hole. Yet past school mods you could at least interact with the teacher and other students during class, but you can with this game.
@@aurora6920 right! Ive been playing also the patch before the release really screwed my game up. And the prom is really glitchy for me. My sims keeps changing out of her formal wear into her regular clothes.

I'm getting it only for the objects because we all know the gameplay will be bugged, they will release multiple fixes that dont fix sht, modders will come through and save the game. The Sims without mods is a very boring and broken game. Plus, they are just falling into propaganda now, buying into "trends" and mental illness, like pronouns and stuff like that. So, dont deny yourself of curved walls, just get it (if you want) for the stuff which is kinda cool and cute. Modders will come to the rescue.

The reason is for when kids age up to teens, they will be able to have a prom. No one will miss it.

I would like a bank!! I hate how it’s just one money pot for the whole household. A bank would mean the money teens get from part time jobs would go into their own accounts and kids/teens could do chores to earn money to buy their own stuff.
For real!! I once had a teen who was 'saving up money and hiding it from his parents' and every time he came back from part-time job I'd write down the amount of money on a paper and then count it up. So much work for a simple detail ToT
I am actually more excited to see what the modding community does with this than the actual pack. Don’t get me wrong… this pack is LONG over due and I ready. However, my excitement is reserved for the “protect at all cost” modding community!!
