Possibly my favourite scene from this drama. Beautifully written. It conveys so much meaning with just a few select words. Ji ho understanding Se Hee a whole lot more. Even the script when Ji ho looks at the phone ‘You called many times,’ ‘Yes I called many times’. Se Hee a person of few words spoke volumes through his actions. Conveyed the depth of friendship/importance, value of the relationship. Ah such a pivotal turning point more so than the usual drama plot of ‘oh you have feelings for me’. This drama felt like it was a nod to poetry and had a beautiful thread on the power of words spoken. :)
You wrote it so well! He intentionally said "our" and he spoke in banmal, informal Korean (otherwise he speaks to her quite formally). So much meaning behind those few words!

Yes, but we still need more. I have to say they are the cutest when it is just holding hands. There are so many cute moments from ep 9.. so so so cute.
Lee Min Ki’s acting is. beyond expectation. He was born to be a great actor. One can feel the intensity of the role he portrayed. His voice and facial features (his eyes) contributed a lot to his total personality. I consider him as big asset to Korean entertainment industry. Proud to his loyal fan .....forever!!!!🧚♀️🧚🏼♂️🧚🧚♀️🧚🏼♂️🧚🧚♀️
LMK is a beast. I have not seen him yet in a role where he would feel cheesy or disappointing. It's not even that he chooses only the best scripts, e.g. Lies Within was rather bad (the cast for main "couple" was absolutely terrible IMHO) and Beauty Inside was cringey, but he still kept his high quality of acting, making his character authentic. The "problem" is, he ruined other kdramas for me :). For example, I watched Startup recently with my wife and we almost did not make it all the way through. We found the main lead's acting funny first (like, so bad that it was funny), depending on the situation, we would predict what bad facial expression he would make and then we would laugh about it. But it just stopped to be funny after several episodes. It was just annoying :). I was like "Dude, that is not how a man looks at the person he is in love with. Learn from LMK, episode 11, scene at the sea, the way he looks at JSM." LMK is in a new drama soon, the plot seems to be somewhat similar to BTIMFL (male and female roommates who can not / don't want to date), I only hope it will not be cheesy "wanna-be BTIMFL" and he does not go "emotionless Se Hee" on us again. I know he could pull it off, I only worry about his female co-lead and even more about the quality of script, OST and filming. BTIMFL set the bar really really high. I only hope LMK and Jung So Min get to act together again, they just seem to match each other as actors (and personalities) really well - that's why their characters in BTIMFL felt so authentic and the chemistry between them so real.

Like BTIMFL "ruined" other dramas for me because it was so so good that other dramas simply feel worse :). So instead of watching new dramas, I tend to go back to BTIMFL and re-watch it again.

Well, a matured man played a matured man. I was not really hooked to this drama until their (first real) convo at the end, outside the eating place, watching the soccer match together. I was like "hold on, there is something special going on here, these two give strong vibes when together... feels like the entire world stops and it's just them, just radiating feelings". Indeed, it was not chemistry in terms of sexuality or attractiveness as many may expect and want, it was very pure soul-to-soul chemistry, the feel of the strong gravity that was pulling them together right from the start.

Looks like international viewers are give this couple more love than korean viewers i guess? I mean, from what i remember, in any teaser of this drama or any earlier episode in this channel, there are mostly korean who comments to their scene. Nowadays, i-fans flocking and commenting much on this channel there are barely korean comment. Means, they have much i-fans!! Writer-nim, please be aware that we love this couple much more than you think!! I love them so much i always craving for monday to come every week. And wake up in the middle of the night because i really curious to watch new episode. Princess Candle but I the ratings for this show is average and almost reached 5%. Its not super high but not low as well unlike WLF and Scarlet Heart that had really low ratings.But hopefully this will be more recognized in Korea too
