    Coming from India, I grew up with Yoga all around me. Then I somehow lost my touch with it once I moved to Europe. When I wanted to come back to it, I tried out virtually and in-person with many teachers. I agree with you about the cliches - the tea, the showy pronunciations of the names of asanas, and of course, 'Namaste' - they definitely made me cringe. But Adriene somehow got me hooked and I kept coming back time and again. It's just her philosophy - accepting yourself where you are today and letting the thoughts and failures be, without expectations to 'achieve the pose' and be perfect - this is what resonated with me and always keeps me grounded when I come on the mat. Not one day passes now when I don't want to get on the mat and do my yoga practice. Over the course of just a few months, i have noticed huge improvements in posture, breath capacity, anger management and even better productivity at work and home. I would want to continue practicing with Adriene and my fellow yogis for the rest of my life. Namaste and have a wonderful day ahead!

    I’m here for the February 2023 monthly calendar, and I’d like to say, I absolutely love this practice. In particular, I like star pose. As someone who used to have a really low sense of self-worth/self-esteem, the philosophy of taking up space with pride in this pose means everything to me. It is so valuable. I hope that whoever reads this, knows that their existence is so important and cherished. You matter. ❤ Wishing you all a lovely day. X

    Every now and then, usually when I’m struggling in life, I’ll go through a two-three week slump where it’s a real chore and hassle to make it to my yoga mat. It won’t even be like I’ll feel bad in the beginning and better once I’m in the zone or after-I’m miserable the entire time. Today was the first day in weeks in which that cycle was broken. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement, Adriene because today is the first day that I’ve felt whole in a while. I AM WORTHY

    That little moment of quiet stillness in mountain pose at the end was just awesome, I felt lifted and grounded all at once. Just amazing how 22 minutes of yoga in the morning can elevate your mood and energy, thank you Adriene absolutely loved this x

    May flow and I’m back!! Forget my size… last month what held me back was a surprise pregnancy discovery, then a positive Covid test. As the fever has left and the infection subsides, I got back on the mat. I was out of breath a lot. Feel weak and exhausted. But did it! 💪🏼

      Yeah agree 100%. YWA has turned things around for me as well. I was on a weight loss journey and stopped my regular yoga. I hit a wall but got back to my regular practice so my journey continues. Thanks Adriene.

    When 2020 ended I decided to commit to Breath in January, I was so hooked that I kept going, I did Home, Dedicate, True and Revolution.
    For June I decided that I want to try following the monthly calendars. I don’t know why I was so nervous before starting but this morning practice showed me why I like doing Yoga with this lovely community, Adriene and Benji.
    Thank you Adriene and thank you to your team for your amazing work, you made me really appreciate practicing and helped me find a healthy hobby.

    The flows have felt quite a bit more difficult since I came back home in February . Gastric issues are a bit more present I assume due to the quality of food here. Bloom day 30. 968 days.

    Later start again today. Just finished, and it is nearly 7:30 pm. The same friend I brought the bike to yesterday, came and left with a lot of things, including the computer. I still have a lot to do and am so busy these last weeks as I prepare to leave, but I feel so much closer to being done. Tired too but managing in between resting. Align day 5. 854 days in a row.

    It is in mid-summer, when the heat has risen, that motivation begins to wane. It is good at this time to remember to have gratitude for what Adriene has offered here and also to recall all the benefit yoga has brought to life. Keeping a daily count has also been a great help.     Day 5 of Align, February, 2023.👋🤗
    I had an e-mail from Adriene in my inbox this morning. She wrote about a winter storm in her city which really resonated with the happenings in my area, here, in Hungary. Although we were lucky, our flat is alright, my family is alright, etc. But it was definitely a struggle yesterday. We had a full-day blackout, with the electricity coming back only a few times during the day and only for 5 minutes at most. Fortunately we had lightning, heating, and hot water by the afternoon, and finally we could eat a warm dish. When we finally had wifi again, the first thing I did was sending a message to all my close family members, asking if everything was alright. Luckily the answer was yes.
    It felt great in a way when I read Adriene's letter today, it reminded me of the fact that we are never alone. The storm is gone now here, but this practice today really suited my mood right now. Today I'll try to be flexible, I'm gonna meet up with my two older brothers for a Monopoly party - although I got a little sick, struggling with a sore throat. I'm just really grateful for what I have now, for my family, and for this community. Thank You, Adriene.❤️🙏

    When I was relapsing into my eating disorder last year, yoga became a compulsion for me and I would go out of my way to ensure I was able to complete my daily practice to avoid the guilt that came with missing it. After a hospital admission I am beginning to rebuild my life, which includes cautiously adding yoga back into my day in a healthy and contained way. I am slowly trying to relearn to listen to my body and to really understand what it means to 'find what feels good' instead of using movement as a punishment or a chore. Thank you for helping me on my journey

    Here from Center! Sad to say I missed the last 2 practices due to a death in the family. But, I did the last those 2 plus this one in succession today and they worked beautifully to give me nearly 1.5 hours of bliss and healing after a tough time. The first helped "unclog" my energy channel through lots of yummy spine work, the second helped me to release some emotions I have been holding onto and re-open my heart Chakra to receive love, and this one reminded me that it is okay to be flexible in my emotions and that it is okay to feel joy and peace during this time. I am beyond thankful for this series. Namaste 🙏

    Returning to the calendar for our new video, I never miss one ! This senior yogi smiled as we started in my favourite shark fin stretch, then some useful peddling. I realised this practice was developing into a slow mindful flow, so I went with it and when it came to the tick tock side planks I rested a little and then met in downward dog. Still recovering I slowed it down and breathed deep. The calendar looks good this week, but I’ll swap to some faves for Tuesday and Saturday 😉 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💕

      Still recovering? I hope you are doing ok 🙏🏻💕I bet Adriene knew shark fin was in order. I’m going to go back and check the past few days so I know what sort of vibes I need to send.
      I’ve been up all night the past few days with my dog who is sick. I’m so tired but I’m going to do this practice minus the tick tock because I need to be strong for her 🐾🖤

    I am out of breath, sweating liek crazy and couldn't do all the poses, but after catching covid at the beginning of the month and being ill for most of the last two weeks, it feels good to come back to the mat.

    Day 16 of nourish :) I have heard of people crying from the emotional release of yoga and was expecting that to happen to me, but I always just smile or laugh uncontrollably!! This practice had me giggling after a few dark, emotionally straining days. I was really needing a more active practice after giving myself a few gentle days, and this was so perfect and so refreshing. Exactly what I needed. Much love to anyone struggling, and to Adriene, the only yoga instructor I've found truly supportive!!

    I've been practicing not looking down as I bring my feet together (really together), and I'm surprised at how centered they are along the line in the middle of my mat! It definitely did not use to be this way :) And all in the month of Align! Day 5, February 2023

    I was up at 4:30, the mind still trying to trap me in worry about Thursday's checkup. After an hour of trying to return to sleep, I gave up and meditated instead. Then I had some coffee, fruit and granola and took a two hour walk on this cool morning. I came to this sequence again after a bit of a nap and now am ready for the day, and for the time being, Thursday!
    Nourish day 16. 408 days in a row.

Some mild Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, gastritis and one other which I do not recall the name of but basically where the stomach meets the large intestine, the stomach is tight but the intestine is loose. I have not really had any symptoms so it was good to find out.

      @@loublou5886 It does not appear to be serious although my dad had similar issues. I do not seem to have any major symptoms so it is a little surprising.

    I was feeling very insecure and upset today because my acne is coming back. I didn’t want to think about it anymore so I did day 2 of the calendar today. I started out feeling very upset and irritated and ended up crying at the end of the video. I’ve never felt any powerful emotions doing yoga till today, but when I told myself “I am worthy” it just opened a door for me to pour everything out on the mat. My insecurities and anger were not serving me so I left them on the mat. Thanks for helping me see my beauty Adriene. Hope you all are having a beautiful day❤️

    This was really hard in parts. But I did manage to hop to the top a couple of times which was great. It shows what consistent yoga practise can do for you

    Yes! Second time I've done this practice and I'm moving it to my favourites 🥰 I'm so excited to realise I'm not frantically whispering "I am strong/flexible/worthy" in an attempt to convince myself that I am anymore. I'm carefully whispering it as a simple truth now after months of practice. I feel stronger now at 52 than I ever have in my life 🥰 Day 16 of Nourish, day 140/365 in a row! I AM STRONG!

    Spark day 13, I am strong, I am flexible, I am worthy. I really do feel these things now, I've come such a long way from my self depreciating thoughts and although I have to keep myself in check daily I am getting better and stronger mentally, physically and spiritually. Thank you for being one of my guides Adrien you've helped me so so much 💙

      I was at 35 once. Keep going and you will reach 100 and beyond!
      On days when you feel you just cannot, find a short video to practice with.

    Flow Day 3, 20 days in a row. This was a much needed practice after a rough morning. Had to guide my boyfriend through a panic attack and since I'm not so mentally stable myself, it always affects me too. But after this practice I'm a lot calmer (and maybe a little sweaty and exhausted...) and ready to take on the rest of the day. Thank you for this beautiful video♥️

    Namaste to everyone doing Spark in July 2022!
    I wasn't able to do the knocking on heaven's door at the end. My rescue dog is recovering from his first heartworm treatment (which is basically like chemotherapy😕) and he came and needed some love right as Adriene instructed the final beat of this practice. I have a feeling that snuggling one's dog is a form of yoga. I've been really anxious today, but thankful for this practice and how I'm supported in coming back to grounding in myself. Much love and hope to all who see this

    Spark Day 13 - Day 559. I’m finding this month’s calendar very core heavy. Which I am handling so much better after following Adrienne now for a year and a half. So I’m appreciating the challenge and am proud of my progress. BUT…..they aren’t my favourite practices. Which is why I like following the calendars so much because if I was choosing for myself these ones would somehow get conveniently missed!😀. So thank-you Adrienne and Team! I am hoping that the August calendar might be titled Rest or Serenity or Calm or even Lazy! You get my drift! 🤣 All the best to everyone! 🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻
