I’ve been thinking the same thing as well. Chris has only become the brains of this project and has barely done anything impressive himself. Would of been more impressed if him and his buddy did it themselves. To top it all off this is a sponsored project which he probably has barely any of his money tied into it which makes the build useless.
In the end everyone that really built this car should be getting all the credit they deserve, not Chris!
Chris basically only is doing the wiring and videography.

It's crazy hearing you call out Mullins! I've been an auto tech in Springfield IL, where they are located, for 20 years and they have always been the place to call for used auto parts in our area. They also run a race parts supply store to support the local dirt track roundy round guys, plus any local race car guys. Anyways, love the channel, love the build, and it's awesome that you're supporting my local businesses!

He usually makes one or two driving videos per car and then nothing. There's more footage of him driving the FJ than all others combined. Which he may be happy with, cool, but it is what it is. B isn't for drive.

They got an 5.3 but they built a new block for chris bcz he wanted a 6.0 and they got an 5.3
And got pushed into the back of the warehouse to be replaced with the right block

I'd maybe build some type of guard around those fuel filters. Catastrophic failure to a 1000whp engine and they will punch a hole through one. 60psi of fuel and sparks isn't good. Lol it already burnt down once.

This is the only Lambo i would keep for myself if i could afford a Lambo. The wow factor of an italian supercar with the simplicity of an LS motor. The only Lambo i could probably afford to maintain. Very cool project. Awesome channel!

I don't think the wiring stuff is boring, maybe I'm in the minority but I think it's incredibly interesting how you're somehow putting together two completely different cars wiring into the same car and getting it to talk to a completely different ecu. Totally cool man and part of the process.
My previous employer called their hose fittings "Field-assemble-able" and they are cool. But you want to do four things to make assembly smooth and seal tight. 1) cut hose with abrasive cutoff wheel so it doesn't pinch. 2) Blow out the hose inner tube and make sure no dirt in it. 3) On belt sander, chamfer the end of the hose outside slightly so hose bottoms against bottom of inside of outer collar. 4) Chamfer the inside edge of the hose (1/16-1/8" into hose). The chamfers should be 45 degree. 3) Put a little oil on the insert so it doesn't grab or damage the inside bore of the hose inner tube.

I don’t even really like cars or know a single thing about them but I LOVE watching these videos! I’m totally loving the “we’ll figure it out as we go along” style shoots and appreciate the reality of not always knowing what the heck you’re doing. I’ve maintained the same attitude for 22 years as a carpenter!!! Huge respect for B is for Build. B is for badass!!

You need two keys when finished and one set should go to Oscar. The man is a build artist. Invaluable!
If your still having electrical problems you may want to consider conservatively soldering and shrink wrapping your ecu/bcm connections because many if not most of your connections run by resistance! Solder also creates resistance so be sparingly but make sure the solder fuses well with the stranded wire.
Also, stagger your wire connections so you don't have a ballooned section of wire loom

Great fabricating with the fuel pump, it looks good! The fuel cells look good now after cleaning and repairing them or whatever you did to them! Great job on fuel system and wiring!
You should think about tacking the heads of the regulator mounting bolts to the backing plate. It will make removing it easier if it ever needs to be replaced. Love the build, can't wait to see it finished!
I watched your engine being built yesterday it's gonna rip, loving this build.
Chris you may have to think more about the venturi transfer system. They are normally used in single tanks where the fuel and air can slop between the two sides over a saddle. The venturi pump is always running so if have both tanks two thirds full, the venturi pump will try and put all the fuel in the left tank and possibly blow out the breather. Maybe the right tank has the breather to atmosphere and there is a cross tank pipe that acts as the left tank breather and fuel return when the left tank over fills ?
November is coming fast, can't wait to see how fast you get this build rolling

Looks like the lambo fuel system was done before the boat. Since that crate was the glass for the door, this build is probably further ahead than the viewers think. Chris put the videos out faster.
compared to other car build channels on youtube B is for build is the best and they really build cars from scratch not just untwist the frame, change some suspension and paint which is what others are doing.. great going bud

You know what? This will decimate all, after, you put about fifteen grand in it or more. If we have to, overnight parts from Texas Speed.
It might not be related but audi/volkswagen code the key to the ecu and the cluster as part of the immobiliser, could be the same for the lambo hence why nothing is working
Not to mention all the Component Protections that can/are triggered by swapping back and forth modules with different VINs.
Yeah most times it only protects it whilst mismatched parts are connected,once you complete the set with stuff that's paired it'll work as normal
So for it to work he would need the cluster that matches the ecu from the mullens car, good test would be to throw the bcm ecu key and cluster from the green car onto it and everything should work

I am working on a camaro that I had to rebuild the harness on,and it looks soooo much simpler than what that lambo has lol, I have found that staggering the connections helps the harness tuck a lot more naturally,still an amazing build! Good luck!!!

key system uses the guage cluster as part of the starting system, so it must see the same vin as the ecu. I learned this stuff cutting vw jetta keys.

You need the “B is for Build” logo laser etched on that intake. Be a cool little touch. Especially if you decide to do a Lexan window to look at the LS.
That aluminum fuel pump hanger is nice! You could have cut that thick aluminum piece with the smaller diameter holes down the center and drilled some holes for bolts to turn it into a clamp to hold the larger diameter fuel pumps....cause you know, everyone cringes when the zip ties come out... haha! but that is how half of my car is held together!!!!
Love the progress you guys are making on the car I can't wait to see it complete just one tip I want to leave you with when you're installing the injectors try to make sure you lubricate the gasket they slip in easier and don't distort when you put them in the hole

The Lamborghini May be like VW and Audi where the immobilizer system is in the cluster, you will need the cluster and key to be coded to each other. If I’m correct Vagcom can do this so you would need the software
ivan picazo yes it will but you will need the security code to do it which most likely they don’t have 👍
Bonezmi16 I wonder if it can be retrieved using one of the cheap plug and play modules like you can on a vw/Audi. I have one that you press one button and it reads the pin code from the cluster displays it to be used with vagcom or the other software to recode
possible but a big risk of bricking the display.
